Gugu Mbatha-Raw Wore Galvan To The 2021 British Independent Film Awards

Gugu Mbatha-Raw joined Kate Beckinsale and Emma Corrin on the red carpet for the 2021 British Independent Film Awards held at Old Billingsgate on Sunday (December 5) in London.

If your first thought was that the British actress was wearing David Koma, you’re not alone.

Beyonce Knowles, Hailey Bieber and Hailee Steinfeld made David Koma, and nude sequin bustier dresses synonymous with each other.

Gugu’s bustier dress – which hails from the Galvan Resort 2020 collection – feels just as flirtatious, but I wasn’t convinced that her rose-gold Chaumet Bee My Love necklace was the right choice with this dress.

In fact, I don’t feel like this dress needs a necklace at all.
