Adele Promotes ’30’ Wearing Schiaparelli Haute Couture, Christopher John Rogers, Oscar de la Renta, Louis Vuitton & Dior Haute Couture

Adele’s new album ’30’ is probably one of the most anticipated albums of all time, and the fact that it is already the biggest-selling album of the year in the US, just three days after it went on sale, and if you’ve listened to it – with it being on scuffle – you’ll know it was worth the wait.

It’s so satisfying when something lives up to the hype.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that with a new album came a new style, because some of the looks she has presented promoting this new album I can picture her wearing while promoting her last album.

The “other looks” I’m assuming come from having a new stylists and a newfound confidence, as she’s now in a very happy place having come though the other side of her divorce.

For her ‘One Night Only’ show she wore a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown featuring a beautifully embroidered bustier styled with custom Saturn pendant earrings.

The astronomical touches such as the Saturn earrings and her bustier that looked like a midnight sky were fitting considering she was performing in front of the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.

Her earrings also matched her Saturn tattoo, which symbolises an important shift in her life.

An iconic performance needed an iconic gown, and Adele and Schiaparelli are becoming quite a formidable duo, as her previous BDOTY worthy Schiaparelli Haute Couture look showcased.

For her Oprah Winfrey interview she wore a custom Christopher John Rogers white pant suit inspired by the Resort 2022 collection.

Tailored with a sharp silhouette, a collarless neckline and softly structured shoulders, this look also had its own significance.

A white suit continues to be associated with women’s liberation and empowerment on the public stage.

Kamala Harris also made a statement with her Carolina Herrera white suit for her first public address.

What might not be immediately visible in the interview are the gorgeous crystals which lined the suit, and the buttons.

Fernando Jorge rings and white Christian Louboutin Claire slingbacks completed this look.

For an album listening party, the singer went short wearing a custom Oscar de la Renta Spring 2022 cocktail dress, featuring winding wild strawberries of amber and silver sequins.

This was the party perfect look to celebrate the album, and I love how the amber tones complemented her strawberry blonde hair.

Back in the UK, Adele was back to black for ‘An Audience with Adele’ ITV special. 

Her custom off-the-shoulder Louis Vuitton gown saw creative director Nicolas Ghesquière back to his very best as Adele was channelling old Hollywood in this super flattering piece.

Anything with a drop waist makes me nervous, but this was executed perfectly.

This look was styled with onyx and diamond Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Adele took center stage for a special presentation at the 2021 NRJ Awards in Paris on Saturday evening where she performed ‘Easy On Me.’

She wore a Dior Fall 2021 Haute Couture draped mesh dress with black guipure appliqués over black mesh sweater which confirms that when it comes to her performance looks, we can expect her to wear black.

This might not have the embellishments of the previous two, but from the styling it feels like she wanted a simpler approach to this performance.
