Caitriona Balfe Wore Stella McCartney for AZ Factory To The 'Belfast' London Film Festival Premiere

Caitriona Balfe attended the ‘Belfast’ premiere during the 2021 London Film Festival held at The Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday (October 12).

Much like Ruth Wilson, Caitriona isn’t afraid to make bold choices on the red carpet.

The actress wore a dress from the AZ Factory Spring 2022 tribute collection which was created to pay homage to the late designer Alber Elbaz, who tragically passed away from Covid-19 in April of this year.

The show’s contributors included Christopher John Rodgers, Comme des Garçon’s Rei Kawakubo, Olivier Rousteing, Donatella Versace and Gucci’s Alessandro Michele.

This dress was designed by Stella McCartney, who it appears was inspired by a look 41 from the Lanvin Spring 2014 collection.

If you think this Stella McCartney for AZ Factory Spring 2022 gown is enthralling, I urge you to look up videos to see it in motion.

Some might not love the bold shoulders, layers and pleats; feeling that there’s too much going on for one look.

But I love the delicate fluidity of this design and the abundance of pleats that come to life with every step.

The gleaming metallic lurex fabric meant that this look requires little-to-no accompaniment to steal the spotlight.

She totally nailed this for me.
