2021 Emmy Awards Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from the gentlemen who attended the 2021 Emmys on Sunday (September 19) in LA.

Jason Sudeikis wore a beautiful bright blue Tom Ford peak lapel suit, but I was bitterly disappointed by the fit.

This is so uncharacteristic for a Tom Ford look of any description. I’m actually really shocked by this.

Josh O’Connor followed up his Met Gala dunhill custom suit with another custom outfit from Loewe.

You may remember that the actor pretty much wore Loewe exclusively during awards season, so I was delighted to see them reunite to bring that schoolboy charm back to the red carpet.

Speaking of charm, Regé-Jean Page was back to woo us all in this Giorgio Armani tuxedo.

I am always floored by Armani’s tailoring, but this time the midnight blue silk jacquard fabric and navy velvet loafers made me swoon.

He just has it. Whatever it is.  He’s got it.

Better grooming and Seth Rogen would’ve been my favourite along with Dan Levy.

I adore the autumnal colours, and the shawl-lapel jacket, but I think this look needed one more rendezvous with the steamer.

A Montblanc timepiece, David Yurman jewels and Christian Louboutin Greggo burgundy leather lace up dress shoes completed his look.

Trevor NoahVersace Suit. Perfection.  That’s all.

And I love that he’s kept his quarantine afro. He’s even more handsome with it.

Bo Burnham fared much better than Jason in his velvet blue Etro suit, styled with David Yurman ring, Christian Louboutin Greggo Orlato black velvet shoes and Montblanc cufflinks.

I really loved this pink suit on Kenan Thompson.  He has the personality to pull it off. The shoes are expected, because I couldn’t picture him rocking pink shoes, and sneakers wouldn’t really fly at this prestigious event.

If you’re looking for a man with great fashion sense, and an arsenal of impressive jackets, Anthony Anderson is your man.

Sterling K. Brown is like Adrien Brody, in that this could be from pretty much any event at any time.  The style, and styling remains the same.

The actor was outfitted by Tom Ford.

‘Ted Lasso’ star Brett Goldstein collected his award in black-on-black Dior Men.

With all the embellishments on Leon Bridges’ suit, you could never say this was a boring tuxedo.

Jon Batiste performed with Leon Bridges on the night.

His Pyer Moss by Kerby Jean-Raymond suit uses a print made entirely of photos of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, just a few weeks after its 16th anniversary.
