The ‘Schitt’s Creek’ Cast Go Monochromatic For The 2021 Emmy Awards

Dan Levy Wore Valentino Haute Couture To The 2021 Emmy Awards

Dan Levy attended the 2021 Emmy Awards from L.A. LIVE on Sunday (September 19) in California, representing this hit show, ‘Schitt’s Creek.’

The actor whose Met Gala Loewe look didn’t receive the level of love that was expecting, had another moment to steal your hearts.

As you know I live for anything in the colour blue, so I was salivating over his electric blue gabardine jacket, paired with a froissé velvet-lurex shirt, and trousers in a lighter shade featuring bluette wool gabardine panels which hails from the Valentino Haute Couture ‘Des Ateliers’ Fall 2021 collection.

A monochromatic look can be difficult, especially when mixing different tones.

Dan opted to mix three shades with the lighter shades enveloped by the darker elongated jacket.

And he wasn’t the only one to go monochrome.

It would appear that the rest of his cast got the monochromatic memo.

Annie Murphy Wore Valentino Fall 2021 Haute Couture To 2021 Emmy Awards

Annie Murphy’s Valentino Fall 2021 Haute Couture green chiffon draped shirt dress was styled with a green velvet Jimmy Choo ‘Ellipse’ clutch, emerald Irene Neuwirth jewels and green Christian Louboutin sandals.

I’m sure your reaction to this was the same as mine.  Which was that this dress is too big for her, but looking at the model, this appears to be designed to fit oversized.

Catherine O'Hara Wore Cong Tri To 2021 Emmy Awards

Catherine O’Hara was a vision in orange Cong Tri Fall 2021.

Tailoring with drapery will always win my heart (hence my love for Yara’s look).

Catherine always serves up a level of sophistication which feels unique to her, so this was another pitch perfect look.

I did say that all of the cast got the monochromatic memo, but Eugene Levy marched to the beat of his own drum wearing a classic Valentino tux.
