2021 Creative Arts Emmys
The 2021 Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place at Microsoft Theater on Saturday (September 11) in Los Angeles, California.
Thuso Mbedu wore a Reem Acra Fall 2021 blue off-shoulder halter gown which was elegant yet playful.
I love how the gown mixes the traditional glamour of the ball gown silhouette with subtle crystal trim embellishments, and how the look feels ethereal thanks to the lighter than air tulle.
Yellow is a great colour for Roselyn Sánchez with her olive complexion, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of her choice of undergarments.
A flesh-coloured bodysuit would’ve worked better with her Atelier Zuhra semi sheer gown features heavily rounded beading at the top, dispersing to less at the hem.
When I saw this look on her Instagram, I kinda wish she had opted for the feathered cape.
Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Sophie’ sandals completed her look.
Paris Jackson seems to be over the Vivienne Westwood obsession, as she attended this event wearing an Alexander McQueen Anemone print dress from the Fall 2021 collection.
Her style can be a little all over the place, as I don’t think even she’s quite sure what works best for her.
While I don’t think this is quite it either, I do like how she didn’t over style this dress as the flower print speaks for itself.
Angelica Ross was looking like a beautiful gold statue wearing this Rani Zakhem Couture gold lamé halter cut-out gown.
Ming-Na Wen wore a gorgeous Sebastian Gunawan Signature gown. The colour complements her complexion. The detailing brings a touch of drama to the event.
But the short cape was a bit perplexing to say the least.
Jamie Chung has always marched to the beat of her own drum, but this LaPointe look feels like she’s going to an entirely different event to everyone else.
