Maggie Gyllenhaal Wore Proenza Schouler To The 2021 Venice Film Festival Closing Ceremony
Maggie Gyllenhaal received the Award for Best Screenplay for her directorial debut, ‘The Lost Daughter’ during the closing ceremony of the 2021 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 11).
The director wore a Proenza Schouler white boucle crepe v-neck dress from the Resort 2022 collection.
We have all accepted that there will be no frills, or major moments from Maggie who will adopt a less is more approach to this promo tour considering her position.
We don’t tend to agree with this, but it is what it is.
However, I couldn’t get onboard with this Proenza Schouler dress mostly because it feels like a beach coverup, which is further highlighted when you see that she wore the same green and black parrot jacquard bra the dress was styled with on the runway.
This is all before I get to the frayed edges.
