Penelope Cruz Wore Chanel Haute Couture For The 2021 Venice Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Penelope Cruz received the Coppa Volpi (Best Actress) Award for her film, ‘Madres Paralelas’ during the closing ceremony of the 2021 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 11).

The actress wore a Chanel Haute Couture dress inspired by the Spring 2020 collection featuring the drop-waist silhouette that she favours so heavily.

I would love to know why, because it’s rarely flattering on the Spanish actress.

Personally, I prefer the dress it was inspired by.

She only needed to line the skirt, and this would’ve been a far superior look for her, as the construction on the top of her dress is questionable.

Chanel accessories including Chanel Fine Jewels completed her look.
