Milena Smit Wore Marine Serre & Balmain For The ‘Madres Paralelas’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Milena Smit joined her co-star Penelope Cruz on the red carpet for the photocall and premiere of their new film ‘Madres Paralelas’ which opened the 2021 Venice Film Festival.

I’m really into this Marine Serre Spring 2021 look which merges feminine nuances with utilitarian codes.

The signature crescent moons were of course incorporated into the look, which added a playful twist to this edgy look.

For the premiere she matched her co-star in terms of wearing a black and white, but the direction couldn’t have been more different.

Olivier Rousteing knows a thing or two when it comes to creating dresses for the modern woman and this piece is reliable proof.

As you have probably come to expect, this custom Balmain dress (inspired by the Spring 2020 collection) incorporates pointy shoulder pads – an instantly recognisable trait from the French House – along with alluring cut-out panels.

A dress like this can only truly work on someone who presents a directional attitude when it comes to the red carpet, which Milena has in spades.

Olivier Rousteing knew the assignment when it came to this custom creation for the Spanish actress.

The only thing she doesn’t sell to me here is the hair glued to the face.  I really wish this trend would end.
