‘The French Dispatch’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The premiere of Tilda Swinton and Timothée Chalamet’s ‘The French Dispatch’ took place this evening (July 12) during the 2021 Cannes Film Festival with many more lovely ladies taking to the red carpet.

Anna Cleveland was the golden girl wearing an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2021 embellished gown, which is one of my favourite looks of the entire festival.

This is where “a lot going on” results in the beautiful cocktail of crystal, sequins, and fringed detailing, and she didn’t skip on adding complementary jewels from Bvlgari.

Natasha Poly makes her first appearance at Cannes this year wearing a Valentino Spring 2020 Haute Couture dress that seamlessly combines time-honoured and contemporary design codes.

French actress, Lyna Khoudri, who has a leading role in this film, wore a classic black and white Chanel Pre-Fall 2021 look styled with Chanel jewels and accessories.

The one thing I would change about this look is the belt as I don’t think it adds anything to her ensemble.

I’m glad Lyna didn’t have a white lining under her skirt like we saw on the runway.

Honor Swinton Byrne joined her mother – Tilda Swinton – on this red carpet wearing a Gucci Fall 2021 sequin dress.

This isn’t as punchy as I hoped it would be on the red carpet, but that could be because the embellishments aren’t dazzling as much as they did on the runway.

Spike Lee and Tonya Lewis Lee’s love for all things Louis Vuitton continued to this event.

I wish Tonya had done something with that black ribbon.

Kat Graham returns to the red carpet wearing BOSS.

Iris Law, the daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, wore an elegant floaty Christian Dior dress with Bvlgari jewels.
