Tilda Swinton Wore Haider Ackermann To ‘The French Dispatch’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere
That epic moment I didn’t quite get from Nieves Álvarez didn’t hurt so much because Tilda Swinton decided to stop holding out on us for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘The French Dispatch’ premiere this evening (July 12) in France.
On Friday, I was crying over how much I missed the Tilda Swinton-Haider Ackermann union; and here it is, in all its colourful glory.
Dreams (and prayers) do come true.
It’s unlike anything we’ve seen so far at this event yet feels like a classic Tilda look in terms of being weird, wonderful, and thought provoking all at the same time.
Yet you may still have reservations about this.
What does it look like without the jacket? I’m wondering.
While others may like the green sequinned sleeves, but the sleeves give this a touch of extraterrestrial, alien life-form that makes the case for intelligent life in outer space which I love from Tilda.
If this is the best that Cannes has to offer me this year, I will be a very happy woman by the closing ceremony on Sunday.
This is all I wanted.
