Maggie Gyllenhaal Wore Atelier Versace To The ‘Benedetta’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Jury member Maggie Gyllenhaal attended the ‘Benedetta’ premiere during the 2021 Cannes Film Festival on Friday (July 9) France.

When it comes to Versace, their reputation precedes them.

No doubt many saw the title and expected a slit to the hipbone, overly embellished gown worn by Maggie, and on this rare occasion you would be wrong, even though anything usually goes at Cannes.

The actress gilded down the red carpet wearing a custom-made burgundy Atelier Versace design expertly crafted from plissé silk featuring a sculptural plunging neckline which provided plenty of room to showcase her gorgeous Chopard necklace from the Green Carpet Collection.

As we’ve discovered from this festival, simple elegance is going to be Maggie’s M.O. going forward with her stylist Emma Jade Morrison, who also works with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
