Jurnee Smollett Wore Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture To The 2021 NAACP Image Awards

And the Haute Couture looks keep on coming from Jurnee Smollett, who is fast becoming one of my favourites this awards season.

Nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for ‘Lovecraft Country,’ Jurnee’s sultry side came out to play in this Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2020 Haute Couture bustier gown for the 2021 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday (March 27).

On this occasion she didn’t opt for sequins, but that doesn’t mean that this look was any less dazzling, in fact, this is probably her best look of the three ahead of her Louis Vuitton at the 2021 Critics’ Choice Awards and Ronald van der Kemp Haute Couture for the 2021 PGA Awards.

If you’re having a case of deja vu, that’s because Victoria Song wore this same look back in December to the 2020 COSMO Glam Night.

I always say that accessories can make all the difference in a look, and in Jurnee’s case both her choice to keep the same Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture fuchsia and crystal rose sandals we saw in the look book, plus her NAKARD emerald earrings helped elevate this look into one of the best of the night.

Additional jewels from Cathy Waterman and the John Hardy Cinta Collection completed her look.
