Jurnee Smollett was also a guest presenter for the 2021 Producers Guild of America Awards on Wednesday (March 14), alongside Gal Gadot.

We all love a glam moment. Usually they run from head-to-toe.

This Ronald van der Kemp Spring 2021 Haute Couture look gives us a touch of glam and grunge.

Some would say “never the twain shall meet,” but others will appreciate the boldness of doing something different.

As we’ve seen from her Critic Choice Awards look, Jurnee isn’t here to give us cookie cutter looks, quite the opposite.

My heart wants to say I wish she had not worn the torn splatter paint jeans, and opted for something as glam at the ruched purple top with a flowing train.

But my brain overrides that emotion by telling me that she’s rocking the hell out of this look.

Few could sell this as presented in the look book, and Jurnee is one of them.

Kudos to her.

Now I’m off to buy a box of Quality Street Purely Purple Ones.
