Emily Blunt’s ‘Wild Mountain Thyme’ Promo Tour Serves Up EIGHT More Looks

When it comes to those who never fail to impress when it comes to their promo tours, Emily Blunt’s name is up there along with Blake Lively, and Lupita Nyong’o.

Why?

Because you are guaranteed a wide range of colours, prints, styles and designers, and that’s what Emily has blessed us with during her promo tour for ‘Wild Mountain Thyme.’

The British actress has always worked so well with her stylist of over 10 years Jessica Paster, who curated these eight looks.

With eight looks, where does one start?

With the jumpsuits of course.

Look One:  This Louis Vuitton Resort 2021 grey jumpsuit really surprised me.  Mostly because of the simplicity of the design.  Usually there is at least one element that has you saying “what the..?”  But I have to give kudos Nicolas Ghesquière for presenting an instantly wearable design.

The Christian Louboutin flats add plenty of charm to this look.  You’ll not be surprised to learn that this is my favourite of the bunch…

Look 2:  …alongside her gorgeous green Emilia Wickstead ‘Elvina’ jumpsuit from the Fall 2020 collection.

I love how this is so sweetly feminine, yet expertly tailored this piece is, with the darts providing a slim fit throughout the waist.

Manolo Blahnik ‘Verda’ sandals, and David Yurman earrings completed this look.

If you’re having a case of deja vu, that’s because Meghan, Duchess of Sussex wore an Emilia Wickstead dress in the same shade of green to the Commonwealth Day Service earlier this year.

Look 3: I really wish we could’ve seen this Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2021 look from the front on, as the double layered trousers as they are a guide Dolce & Gabbana’s pattern clashing. In this case their signature florals and contrasting polka dots.

Is mismatched prints ever a good idea?  On this evidence, I would strongly say yes.

I love the festive touch via the Jimmy Choo Bordeaux velvet sandals.

Look 4: Who said winter clothes can’t be sexy?

Clearly not Brandon Maxwell.  I have always loved the designers modern minimalism and timeless quality, which is oozing from this draped halter checked dress.

From the precise fold, elegantly wrapped skirt, to the brown LeSilla boots peeking through, what’s not to love?

Look 5: I love how this feminine shirt-dress, finished with playful layers of ruffles from Miu Miu’s Resort 2021 collection, is paired with a tough lace up Schutz boots.

The contrast is so very appealing to me.  Especially as cutesy dresses aren’t really Emily’s M.O.

Look 6: The unique character that her Chloé sweater brings to this look is beautiful, as the scalloped cut-outs offer a flash of skin.

But I have to say this look was sold to me the second I saw her Ulla Johnson quilted skirt and electric-blue LeSilla boots.

Look 7: As you know I’m not all that excited by this short trousers and boots combo trend.  Perhaps it will eventually grow on me, but I can’t fault how smart this grey Saint Laurent suit is.

Another pair of LeSilla boots completed this look.,

Look 8:  Is there such thing as too many ruffles?

In this Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2020 dress the answer might me yes.  I don’t dislike the look, but there are seven stronger looks here in my opinion.
