Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

From premieres and screenings, to the CMA Awards and other showings, the men have been making handsome entrances over the past few days.

Sebastian Stan: At the ‘Destroyer’ screening on Tuesday (November 5) during AFI FEST 2018, Sebastian joined Nicole Kidman and wore this Tom Ford ‘Prince of Whales’ peak-lapel ‘Atticus’ suit styled with Chelsea boots. I think brown can sometimes look drab on the red carpet, but definitely not so here. The tonal colours and subtle patterning — not to mention the precise fit — worked wonders.

Noah Schnapp: How can you not smile at this ‘Stranger Things’ cutie in his Scotch & Soda striped suit and white sneakers at the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 14).

Michael B. Jordan: At the ‘Creed II’ New York premiere on Wednesday (November 14), the actor wore all black in this Givenchy suit. But, it’s far from boring, as he always seems to bring so much charisma and dimension to his looks no matter what.

2018 CMA Awards

 2018 CMA Awards

Show-stopping glamour was out in full force at the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tennessee. Celebrities joined Kelsea BalleriniOlivia Culpo and Kacey Musgraves.

Kellie Pickler: There will no doubt be Princess Belle comparisons thanks to this gold Anne Barge gown. The glamorous mood and flow of the fishtail hem are striking but it seems a tad tight.

Mackenzie Foy: ‘The Nutcracker And The Four Realms’ star struck the right balance of fun and formal in Miu Miu with Irene Neuwirth jewelry and Roger Vivier shoes.

Kacey Musgraves In Versace – 2018 CMA Awards

Kacey Musgraves In Versace - 2018 CMA Awards

Kelsea Ballerini may have worn bright pink, Olivia Culpo may have gone sheer, but my attention was fully focused on Kacey Musgraves who served up two three carpet looks for the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tennessee.

Red Carpet: Well, technically two, because her custom red carpet look saw just a removal of the bolero jacket, which I’m thankful for; because all the details were laid bare underneath. I love the modern Western influences imbued in the chiffon bodysuit accented with gold Swarovski crystal beaded fringe and a Medusa bolo tie. Her makeup is flawless, and I even love the sleek finish with the black Versace satin pumps.  Super sleek from head-to-toe.

Press Room: Picking up her ‘Best Album’ award for ‘Golden Hour’, the singer changed into a full look from the iconic Spring 2018 Tribute Collection. Monochromatic orange has never looked so good. I’m obsessing over those infinity leggings. Some might find this too one note, but she blew me out of the water with this one. Danielle Haim wore this same look back in February.

These have to be her best Country Music Awards red carpet moments. I can’t even decide which I prefer.

Jennifer Nettles In Uel Camilo – 2018 CMA Awards

Jennifer Nettles In Uel Camilo - 2018 CMA Awards

It would appear that I’m having a weak spot for sheer dresses today, because much like Olivia Culpo, I found myself loving Jennifer Nettles’ Uel Camilo Spring 2018 look worn to the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tennessee.

I found myself captivated by this cascading floor-length feminine sheer silhouette, fashioned with scattered gold-tone sequins that explode into a flurry of feathers.

It doesn’t feel sheer for sheer sake, is the long and short of it.

Her beautiful look was complete with jewels from Djula and APM Monaco.

Kelsea Ballerini In Zac Posen – 2018 CMA Awards

Kelsea Ballerini In Zac Posen - 2018 CMA Awards

Kelsea Ballerini joined Carrie Underwood and Olivia Culpo on the red carpet for the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tennessee.

The singer stood out in a shocking pink Zac Posen custom gown imbued with the designers signature fit, and construction.

If I were to nitpick about one thing, it would be the bow.

The gown feels so modern from the front, but the bow attempts to drag it into prom-territory.

David Yurman jewels accessorized her look.

Bebe Rexha In Coach – 2018 CMA Awards

Bebe Rexha In Coach - 2018 CMA Awards

Prior to Bebe Rexha joining forces with Florida Georgia Line to perform their monster country-pop hit ‘Meant to Be’ with a romantic, cinematic makeover, the singer sparkled on the red carpet for the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tennessee.

I can’t say I have been fan of Bebe’s style, as it felt a little all over the place, but in recent times I’ve noticed a change. One for the better.

On this occasion she wore a wonderfully festive custom Coach embellished gown which she styled with retro waves imbuing a 1920s vibe.

When it comes to Coach and red carpet dresses, this a rare win, considering they are yet to get it right for their brand ambassador Selena Gomez.

Olivia Culpo In Aadnevik – 2018 CMA Awards

Olivia Culpo In Aadnevik - 2018 CMA Awards

Olivia Culpo was one of the guest presenters for the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tennessee.

Without beating around the bush, I think she looks awesome in this Aadnevik Fall 2018 dress with Dena Kemp jewelry and Rene Caovilla shoes.

If there was a knack, or an art to pulling of a sheer crystal embellished dress, she nailed it.

Sorry, not sorry.
