Tessa Thompson’s at home promo tour for ‘Sylvie’s Love’ continued with two more looks this week.
I have been trying to figure out who she reminds me of with this hairstyle, and it came to me.
Lisa Bonet and Zoe Kravitz. She could easily pass as a family member here.
The first look from Burberry’s Fall 2020 collection was giving me earthy tones and a retro ’70s vibe.
I feel like the more laidback styling – the shirt untucked – is better suited to Tessa. And I’m glad she opted to keep the runway accessories, especially the Burberry heritage check booties.
You may recognise this St. John Fall 2020 look. Actually maybe you won’t. Because the last time we saw this look on Taraji P. Henson it was unbuttoned.
Keeping the look buttoned up, I feel like this as safe as Tessa Thompson gets. And I’m enjoying every side to her style at the moment.
I will say I was a little excited when I thought the red peeking out from her skirt was a red pair of boots, but it’s actually the background.
Tessa Thompson is a woman who is on a roll, because just as I hit publish on this post, her stylists Wayman and Micah published another look on Instagram.
Clearly they were saving the best for last.
When it comes to this David Koma Spring 2021 look I am in love.
Is it due to the bold red hue? The embellishments? The festive feels of the colour and adornments? The biker shorts?
All of the above. It really does tick every box for me, even if I’m curious as to what kind of footwear she opted for with this look.
