Adele Wore Brock Collection, Valentino & Acne Studios Hosting Saturday Night Live

Adele Hosted Saturday Night Live in Brock Collection

Adele hosted Saturday Night Live on Saturday (October 24), which felt like it came at the right time to lift spirits.

Considering this was her first time hosting, the British singer was relaxed, and charismatic.

There have been so many headlines about her weight loss that she joked in her opening monologue, “I know I look really, really different since you last saw me, but, actually, because of all the COVID restrictions and the travel bans, I had to travel light and only bring half of me. And this is the half I chose.”

I know the opening monologue isn’t the section of the show where celebrities get into character, but this look was very much giving me Meryl Streep in ‘Death Becomes Her.’

Her Brock Collection ‘Giacca Rohtak’ off-the-shoulder jacket hails from the Fall 2020 collection, which she teamed with slim-fit trousers, rather than the skirt we saw on the runway.

I love how the structure of the jacket lends an alluring feminine silhouette, although – not she really needed it – I do wish she had wore the runway belt.  It gives that look a little bit more definition.

Do you feel the same?

The second look was a jumpsuit which hails from Valentino’s Fall 2019 collection.

This may be giving you a chase of déjà vu, because H.E.R. wore the same jumpsuit to the 2019 VMAs.

What I love most about this look how the neoclassical sculpture of kissing lovers and floral painted print completely transforms this utilitarian jumpsuit into something that has plenty of feminine flare.

H.E.R wore a look from street style, New York based brand ESNYC.  The fit, and uniqueness of the design very much suits her laidback aesthetic.

I wonder if H.E.R. and Adele conversed about the Valentino jumpsuit.

Adele’s third look was a from Acne Studios which I love for the having a laidback, yet elegant vibe.

I’m also enamored by how the chocolate and dark brown hues on crushed velvet create a rich gradient finish.
