Joey King Wore Versace To The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards

Joey King, our One-To-Watch for 2020, had an amazing awards season, and it would appear that a few months out of the limelight (due to the pandemic) hasn’t knocked her off her stride.

The ‘Kissing Booth’ actress hit the red carpet at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (August 30) in New York City, looking as striking as ever wearing her first Versace look.

The Pre-Fall 2020 long sleeved mini dress has a mix of acid toned tie-dye rose print, which is a contemporary twist on Donatella Versace’s favourite flowers.

I love the edge this print gives the simple silhouette, along with the longer than usual hair which is accented with Medusa hair pins that complement the chunky gold Versace necklaces.

I really enjoyed what I would call an entry point to Versace for Joey.

I think a lot of us would’ve been shocked had she came out the gate in what Doja Cat was wearing, but I love how this Versace look perfectly suits Joey’s style, and attitude to red carpet dressing, as it sweet with an edge which we become accustom to when it comes to the young actress’ look.
