Saint Laurent @ The 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY in Saint Laurent Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Saint Laurent always has an huge presence during awards season.

On Sunday (February 10) at the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in LA, Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello dressed five of Hollywood’s elite.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley:  The model-makeup moguel-actress continues to stick to all black, but I’m not mad at this sleek creation. Mostly because of the sculptural detailing which hangs off the shoulders. The skirt could’ve been a inch or two shorter, but in the face of such beauty, that would be a minor nitpick.   Lorraine Schwartz and a single pop of colour via her red lip provided the finishing touch.

Gal Gadot in Saint Laurent - 2020 Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Gal Gadot:  Like you, I was majorly disappointed by Gal’s Givenchy Haute Couture dress for the main event, so I’m glad she was able to redeem herself in this sultry sequin Saint Laurent number.  Colour and tricky silhouettes are usually her red carpet go-to’s.  Staying simple was probably the best option after such a dramatic downfall.

SIGOURNEY WEAVER in Saint Laurent - 2020 Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Sigourney Weaver:   My feelings for Sigourney’s green Dior Haute Couture dress were as mixed at your comments, but in this Saint Laurent tuxedo featuring scintillating glitter lapels, the actress really comes into her own.  The blend of power dressing and rock ‘n’ roll is so hypnotic.   This was her best of the night for me.

AMBER VALLETTA in Saint Laurent - 2020 Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Amber Valletta:  Along with their suits and LBDs, a mesh metal animal dress – which usually comes in mini form – is very much part of Saint Laurent’s DNA.

Demi Moore:  I love Demi Moore, but I feel like I have seen this look from her a thousand times before.

Overall rather standard and blah looks but I’m enjoying Rosie’s look because of shoulder design and the red lip. It’s very diplomat’s wife esque.

I want to adore RHW’s look and I almost do, but I cannot help but giggle at that sleeve, it extends just that liiiittle bit too far.

An amazing event where all of them looks good on their standards. Rosie specially. Something feels different about her lately, she may have switched gears.

Yep, but I don’t get why Catherine says she always wears black when I think about the Pink and mauve ombré dress she wore to the Tom Ford front row last week.
By the way that ombré dress would’ve won the Oscars night hands down!

Sigourney looks great…but she needs color on her face!

Rosie=Whatever Catherine said. Amber is being the very definition of sultriness (the kohl-rimmed eyes is very well done).

Wow, they’re all so meh. I got bored pretty quickly scrolling through this line-up. I mean, don’t get me wrong, they’re all good and stuff, but they are on gorgeous women. If your design doesn’t look at least nice on Rosie, you’ve failed. Nothing to write home about here.

    All good

  9. Guest February 10, 2020 at 10:41 pm #

They all look great but Rosie is my favourite here.

  10. Guest February 10, 2020 at 9:56 pm #

Gal Gadot should have worn this look to the main event.

Rosie was easily one of my best of the night. So modern yet classic at the same time.

Rosie is a BDOTY contender for me!!
    just wuaaa

I really like everyone’s looks here, but Demi could’ve done better.

Laura Dern should have worn Gal’s dress for the ceremony. I picked it for her weeks ago, she has good relationship with SL and it is sooooo her. Unfortunately for us Armani bought everyone. Allegedly… :/

I think everyone here looks amazing, but Rosie is just so spectacular.

For the record, I loved what Renee wore last night, but I can only imagine how this might have looked on her. It ticks all her boxes, but there’s also that added drama.

    Amber and Rosie look gorgeous.

I don’t mind Demi’s look, as it’s very much in her wheelhouse.

  17. Guest February 10, 2020 at 4:59 pm #

Rosie FTW… Are we going to ignore that Gal’s look has been done 1000 times by others? She’s beautiful but this is boring. Sigourney… I’ll take a pass. Amber is lovely, Demi is boring.

    I can’t forgive Rosie’s length…it’s a beautiful dress though.
Sigourney’s look is the one that stands out for me without trying too hard and just being herself.

  20. Guest February 10, 2020 at 4:39 pm #

    Sigourney weaver looks the best.
    Love those shoes.

  21. Guest February 10, 2020 at 3:36 pm #

WOW, Gal Gadot looks sensational. Way better than her Oscar’s event dress.

  22. Guest February 10, 2020 at 3:26 pm #

Gal looks amazing here. So much better than her dress for the ceremony.

  23. Guest February 10, 2020 at 3:22 pm #

Rosie is the best one here.

  24. Phee phee February 10, 2020 at 3:19 pm #

Rosie looks terrific. Love the sculptured detail. She wears it so beautifully.
Gals is much better than her other for sure.
Everyone here looks pretty nice really.

  25. Catarina_M February 10, 2020 at 3:18 pm #

Rosie and Gal for me. Gal looked so much better then on the main event.

  26. Guest February 10, 2020 at 3:08 pm #

Rosie and Gal look flawless. Gal’s VF dress is better than her Red Carpet look!

  27. Originalmeme February 10, 2020 at 2:57 pm #

Rosie and Gal are perfection. The bodice on Rosie’s dress is stunning. Sigourny’s suit is awful and Demi’s dress is a snooze as is her hair.

  28. juiho February 10, 2020 at 2:49 pm #

Rosie doesn’t even bother to smile and she still get crowned!! ..True, the sculptural shoulder could be a tad shorter…. C’est Magnifique none the less.

  29. sueno February 10, 2020 at 2:40 pm #

Rosie is gorgeous once again. Amber Valletta is everything Heidi Klum think she is.

  30. Guest February 10, 2020 at 2:35 pm #

Spectacular bodice on Rosie and her red lip is perfect. It’s a black look, but it stands out dramatically.
Sigourney Weaver – no, I don’t think it’s a good look for her.

  31. KseniaBradner February 10, 2020 at 2:32 pm #

All of these are good except Demi’s snoozefest. Rosie always looks amazing.

  32. Mady1908 February 10, 2020 at 2:31 pm #

Rosie and Gal for the win, they both look gorgeous 🙂

  33. Guest February 10, 2020 at 2:26 pm #

    Rosie. Wow. BDOTW contender.
Really impactful, length and fit issues aside.

  34. CharlotteLG February 10, 2020 at 2:25 pm #

    They all look good.
RHW is gorgeous, as you said the dress could have been a bit shorter but except for that it’s a beautiful dress, her styling is perfect and she looks gorgeous.
Amber Valetta looks so sexy, without being too much or tacky.
Demi Moore look is pretty dull.

  35. Guest February 10, 2020 at 2:23 pm #

    LOVE Rosie’s look!!
