Saint Laurent always has an huge presence during awards season.
On Sunday (February 10) at the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in LA, Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello dressed five of Hollywood’s elite.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: The model-makeup moguel-actress continues to stick to all black, but I’m not mad at this sleek creation. Mostly because of the sculptural detailing which hangs off the shoulders. The skirt could’ve been a inch or two shorter, but in the face of such beauty, that would be a minor nitpick. Lorraine Schwartz and a single pop of colour via her red lip provided the finishing touch.
Gal Gadot: Like you, I was majorly disappointed by Gal’s Givenchy Haute Couture dress for the main event, so I’m glad she was able to redeem herself in this sultry sequin Saint Laurent number. Colour and tricky silhouettes are usually her red carpet go-to’s. Staying simple was probably the best option after such a dramatic downfall.
Sigourney Weaver: My feelings for Sigourney’s green Dior Haute Couture dress were as mixed at your comments, but in this Saint Laurent tuxedo featuring scintillating glitter lapels, the actress really comes into her own. The blend of power dressing and rock ‘n’ roll is so hypnotic. This was her best of the night for me.
Amber Valletta: Along with their suits and LBDs, a mesh metal animal dress – which usually comes in mini form – is very much part of Saint Laurent’s DNA.
Demi Moore: I love Demi Moore, but I feel like I have seen this look from her a thousand times before.
