Penelope Cruz In Chanel Haute Couture – 2020 Oscars

Penelope Cruz is a presenter at the 2020 Oscars on Sunday (February 9) in LA.

After a brief sidestep away from her comfort zone, the actress was back in the safe space of black and Chanel.

When I saw this high-low design, I immediately thought it had tinges of vintage girlish glamour.

And, that’s because the custom-made Chanel Haute Couture bustier black silk dress was inspired by the design house’s Spring 1995 collection.

Despite it being within Penelope’s norm, I found it to have a fresh whimsy and charm.

She topped it all with Atelier Swarovski jewels.
