Rose Byrne Wore Chloe To The BAM’s Opening Night Party For ‘Medea’

Rose Byrne Wore Chloe To The BAM's Opening Night Party For 'Medea'

“Headbands are back.”

That’s the first thing that sprang to mind when I saw Rose Byrne take to the red carpet for the BAM opening night after party for ‘Medea’ held at Public Records on Thursday (January 30) in New York City, following Charlize Theron and Kathryn Newton earlier in the week.

However, the person who should take most of the credit for this trend is Rooney Mara, who’s been trying to make headbands happen for quite some time now.

While I haven’t been sold via Rooney, Rose’s braided satin piece was charming when paired with her Chloe red and pink floral jacquard-knit dress from the Resort 2020 collection, and Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Hanna’ pink satin, bow accented mules.

Where the accessories too much for you?

I love how they give this dress, previously worn by Nicole Kidman, a whole new outlook.

If you can’t bring life to any look, you wear looks with life of it’s own.

Love the color, but it needs to be shorter with better shoes. And yes…the stick-on bra cups show…not good at all…and the sash is limp.

I love the dress. The accessories belong to two different looks though.

I quite like the look(sans the shoes), but do not like the way her bra/pasties show unevenly(unless I am mistaken?)

I love this look. The shoes are what makes it for me.

The dress is nice, and the headband is cute. The shoes are cute too but I wish they were more pink and less nude hued. For some reason I’m picturing Leighton Meester in this.

I would’ve cut 3-4 inches off the body of the dress and an inch off each sleeve.

And while I normally am pro mixing shades of red it bugs me here. Perhaps because the headband is cool toned and the dress is very warm toned. (or at least it looks that way in this pic)

I’m delighted that Rose has returned to brunette.

Definitely. She picked up on the asian vibe of the dress nicely – it’s sweet.

I think her styling works, the look comes together well as a whole, the headband and the bows look sweet.

headbands are horrid.. The styling fo this dress is awful. wrong shoes, headband is ug, the sash looks pretty sad too.

She looks super cute. The styling really delivers here, because I don’t think any piece here is all that great.

    Prefer Rose’s styling.
