The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast Gala Red Carpet Roundup
There were plenty more ladies who attended The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast Gala at Milk Studios on Wednesday (December 11) in Hollywood, California, and they didn’t opt for suiting like Janet Mock, Charlize Theron and Eva Longoria.
Kerry Washington: I can’t say this Brock Collection look is my favourite. I don’t find the bodice too flattering style or colour-wise for Kerry. Love the new braids though. Delfina Delettrez jewels provided the finishing touch, along with some champagne coloured Midnight 00 pumps.
Reese Witherspoon: There is something about this Michael Kors Collection navy that reminds me of my all school head mistress. But I have to commend Reese on a different silhouette. Jimmy Choo ‘Lexica’ pumps completed her look.
Kaitlyn Dever: This embellished and ruffled Miu Miu dress was one of the few fun looks at this breakfast event. I love the sheer sock and embellishment strap platform combo. Cute and age-appropriate.
Anna Paquin: I think I’m enjoying the bottom half of this Monique Lhuillier dress a lot more than the upper half. I love how the accessories – a Bottega Veneta classic knot clutch and Chloe Gosselin bow front shoes – added a playful energy.
Olivia Wilde: The structure and profile of this midnight jumpsuit from the Spring 2020 Michael Kors Collection is very appealing. Probably my favourite at this event. The styling proved to be superior as well with a colour pop via her pumps, a neutral Edie Parker clutch and Foundrae necklaces
Mindy Kaling: The actress was channeling her inner First Lady in this Tory Burch’s tweed suit. Sadly, I feel it ages Mindy quite drastically.
Sophia Bush: The actress looks like a Bond villain whose name is Natasha here. Her look was smart-casual in purple Dorothee Schumacher. I think the shoes feel a bit random due to the check print.
