Daisy Ridley Wore David Koma To The ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ Special Red Carpet Fan Event

Daisy Ridley Wore David Koma To The 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' Special Red Carpet Fan Event

Daisy Ridley attended the special fan event for ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ held at Roppongi Hills today (December 11) in Tokyo, Japan.

The British actress is known for her love of tailoring, so I wasn’t expecting puffy ball gown for this event, or this promo tour.

As ‘Rey’ in this film, Daisy does play a superhero of sorts, so this look from David Koma’s Spring 2020 collection felt very appropriate.

I love how the sparkling caped top injects opulence into what is essentially Daisy’s every day look, bringing drama and glamour to this fan event.

This look was made for her! It couldn’t capture her style better and she looks fantastic!

Love it! But those pumps… Some sandals would be preferred.

I love the clean modern drama, crisp and subtly glamorous – the delicate cape is just enough to get the job done, fab!

Not a fan, it looks cheap to me.

There is something wrong about the lighting and her pose, she looks like a Madame Tussauds’s wax figure here. Anyway, I’m not too keen on the fabric of the cape and the top. It looks cheap imo.

This has fit issues and the cape looks cheap to me. I usually like her looks but not a fan today.

The cape cooler on the model who’s in mid stride. The outfit plays into the movie’s theme but not too on the nose.

I’m glad Daisy’s style hasn’t suffered from her embarrassing gaffe last week of revealing herself to be a myopic princess. I really hope she uses this as a learning experience. I love her in David Koma. Her style is more understated and less fussy than his more glamorous pieces, so this look is perfect. Just the right amount of interest while still being streamlined and chic-clean, which is very much her style.

I hadn’t heard about Daisy’s privilege misperception before. It’s not as Scarlett Johansson annoying but it’s very ‘Daisy, read a few news articles and thought pieces every now and then and get out of your bubble sometimes’

Thanks for the info. Certainly colors my opinion of her in every sense of the word. As for this look, it’s fine.

    The cape is silly
