Kacey Musgraves In Valentino – 2019 CMA Awards

Kacey Musgraves went into the 2019 CMA Awards with three nominations on Wednesday (November 13).

She ended the night with Female Vocalist, and Music Video of the Year for ‘Rainbow.’

Before her performance with Willie Nelson, the singer took to the red carpet wearing a mixed media dress from Valentino’s Spring 2020 collection.

Kacey has never been a wallflower at these events.  The bigger, the bolder, the better has always been her moto. You only have to look at her 2019 pink fluffy Oscar gown to confirm that.

And you don’t get much bolder than a multi-coloured sequin dress accented with feathers.

It’s a lot to take in.  I’m steadily digesting it.

I do think that Kacey manages to make it work, but I feel like the nude Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps weren’t the right choice.

Yes, the shoes needed to fade into the background, but a nice pair of strappy sandals, or peep-toe mules would’ve been preferred.
