The third final post for the 2019 Elle Women In Hollywood on Monday (October 14), showcased a collection of women who opted for colour: from bold hues, to florals and stripes.
Zoey Deutch: Yes. Absolutely. Zoey was one of the best dressed at this event wearing this yellow Ralph Lauren Collection beaded dress from the Resort 2020 collection. Zoey’s look was styled with Chopard jewels. I would’ve died had she worn that multi-coloured choker we saw in the lookbook.
Charlize Theron: I really appreciate the actress switching up the hair on this occasion. But can I get on board with this Louis Vuitton Resort 2020 outfit? I am going to say just about. Would I have preferred it on Sophie Turner? 1000%, but I feel like Charlize has the right attitude to make this work. Anita Ko rings and earrings completed her look.
Issa Rae: Our second yellow Ralph Lauren Collection dress was worn by the gorgeous Issa Rae, who was the host of the event. What better way to stand out than in this sultry chiffon creation? Between her glistening skin and that yellow hue, I’m in awe.
Storm Reid: I love the young ‘Euphoria’ star, but I felt like this Polo Ralph Lauren Fall 2019 collection look had pieces that didn’t work well together. The racing car driver leather pants were a mismatch with the Prince of Wales check blazer for me.
Joey King: This young actress is swiftly becoming one of the breakout stars of 2019. I love the simple, yet effective change she made this Richard Quinn Fall 2019 look. It gave the look a more youthful and playful spin.
Zendaya Coleman: When you are looking for alternative suiting options, look no further than Zendaya in this Peter Do Spring 2020 look. I much prefer the lighter grey of Zendayas’ look, it feels edgier and more sophisticated. And the white Le Silla pumps, which the girl can’t live without, were a perfect match.
Nikki Reed: The actress’ simple aesthetic was reflected in this green keyhole chiffon design.
Indya Moore: The ‘Pose’ actress has been a bit hit and miss on the red carpet judging by your comments. But I feel like she hit a high note in this Ralph Lauren Spring 2017 dress which I love for its shimmering sheen. The look as elevated with the fringed choker, but some might disagree.
Elizabeth Chambers: The actress joined a few others who wore a Ralph Lauren Collection Fall 2019 jumpsuit, but this one stood out for its super vibrant bold hue. That twisted front could’ve been tricky, but it works well to define her waist.
Madelaine Petsch: Spring was in air for Madelaine and this Prada outfit, but the floral print couldn’t have been a more perfect fit for her colouring.
Lake Bell: Breaking up this floral gathering with stripes, Lake was right to keep the accessories to a minimum to allow the Monse Resort 2020 two-piece look to stand alone.
Bel Powley: Not being part of the tuxedo and all black troops, ensured that Bel stood out in her Erdem Fall 2019 floral suit. Pierry Hardy sandals completed her look.
