Day 2: Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’s Visit To Islamabad

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's Visit To Islamabad

Today (October 15), the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Islamabad, where the Duchess served up two new fresh looks.

Sticking to blue, the Duchess continued to present traditional styles wearing a kurta at the start of the jam-packed day of engagements which began with a visit to the Margalla Hills National Park.

I was surprised that a few were disappointed that she didn’t wear a local designer on her arrival, as I was always confident that she would wear local designers during this tour.

And that she did, as this design was created by Maheen Khan, a Pakistani designer, who previous worked for Catherine Walker which was an interesting link.

Another pair of nude shoes were worn on this occasion, which are from the UK fashion retailer New Look.

I love how the earrings complements the embroidery.

Her second outing was meeting Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan at his official residence.

I’m so happy that bold colours are a theme of the royal tour wardrobe.

Her bright green Catherine Walker tunic was teamed with trousers by Maheen Khan, a scarf by Satrangi.

I really admire the Duchess for getting even the smallest details right.

Zeen earrings and a matching bag and shoe combination from Emmy London completed her look, which benefited from the half-up, half-down hairstyle which that high collar neckline.
