In goop Health Summit

goop, the modern lifestyle brand founded and helmed by Gwyneth Paltrow, hosted the third instalment of its popular wellness summit, In goop Health on Saturday (June 9) in LA.

Gwyneth Paltrow: The actress wore a Ulla Johnson for goop breezy dress which is perfect for such a summery day. Her sliders had a ‘Goop Vibes’ message on them, which was what the summit was all about.

Lake Bell: The actress’ suiting option featured a Keating blazer and Katherine pants from goop’s G.Label. Some of you had a few issues with Zoey Deutch’s suit this week, but the tailoring on this occasion was impeccable. I adore the colour, but would’ve loved this look more with a silk cami.

Kat Tanita: The LA-based blogger wore a romantic Temperley London ruffled wrap dress, with a fluted silhouette and mystical cacti print. Alexandre Birman’s Clarita bow-embellished suede sandals and the bloggers favourite Cult Gaia Ark tote completed her look.

Lake Bell In Ulla Johnson – Beboe One Year Anniversary

Lake Bell co-hosted a private dinner to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Beboe on Thursday (March 29) in Pacific Palisades, California.

I like the flirty, fun concept of her metallic Ulla Johnson ruffled, plisse frock styled with an Edie Parker clutch.

But I don’t think the reality of it played out as effectively as I would have wished.

The slit directed even more attention to its rather awkward length and even further downwards to her Le Silla cage booties, which felt like far too heavy of a shoe for the ensemble.

And, because her hair was so matchy to the dress and its power shoulders, it probably should have been worn up—and with a bit more than barefaced makeup to stand up to the sheen factor.

What say you?

Front Row @ Valentino Spring 2018 Couture

The Valentino Spring 2018 Couture show was on Wednesday (January 24) during Paris Fashion Week, with a front row featuring plenty of Valentino beauties.

Kate Hudson: The actress has been serving up some sweet looks lately, and this Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 frock stay right in line with that girly vibe by virtue of its short length styled with dotted tights and platform shoes. Yet, her sleek hair and elegant earrings reflected the sophistication of the sculpted bodice, preventing the look from becoming too twee.

Shailene Woodley: While this Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 flared mini was certainly on the short side, I loved seeing Shailene have some flirty, youthful fun with fashion. The boots were the right way to wrap up this leopard-print dress—and even though they hit at mid-ankle, her legs still looked a mile long.

Lake Bell: Red was Lake’s colour du jour in this Valentino Spring 2018 number, where she fully committed to the hue from head to toe. It was undoubtedly striking despite its inherent quirkiness—and my wish that the poncho-style dress had a bit more shape.

Lake Bell In Rosie Assoulin – CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show

Lake Bell attended the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund show at the Chateau Marmont on Wednesday (October 25) in Los Angeles, California.

There was a danger that this Rosie Assoulin Resort 2018 two-piece look could’ve come off as try-hard, but I adore that Lake’s cool eclecticism has come back out to play.

Some might think this is too dramatic for daywear, but I love the mixture of textures that have been displayed in such an artful way.

I’m usually not a big fan of white boots, yet her Via Spiga pair are perfect this look here along with her Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch.

ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

From ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration on Monday (October 16) in Beverly Hills, California, we’ve seen the likes of Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence. Here is a roundup of the rest of the gorgeous actresses who were in attendance.

Jessica Chastain: The vinyl Fashion Week trend didn’t go down too well with the majority, but Jessica put her graceful spin on the trend in Calvin Klein which is the most glamorous interpretation I’ve seen yet.

Margot Robbie: After a colourful week promoting ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’, Margot opted for the simple elegance of Calvin Klein. I adore the sensuality of this look, plus the embellished sandals.

Zoe Lister-Jones: The Chinese influence of her gorgeous McQ Alexander McQueen floral dress is there for all to see. It’s the complementary styling of Irene Neuwirth and blue suede shoes which really perfected the look.

Variety And Women In Film’s 2017 Pre-Emmy Celebration

While Entertainment Weekly was hosting its Pre-Emmy Party on Friday (September 15) in West Hollywood, California. Variety and Women in Film were doing the same thing with their Pre-Emmy Celebration in West Hollywood that likewise attracted a number of stars.

Jennifer Nettles: Between the black paneling and the tiered skirt, this black-and-red dress could have benefited from a slightly simpler approach as it looked a bit haphazard as presented. Ileana Makri jewels completed the look.

Abigail Spencer: Abigail took a pretty-in-pink approach with her feminine Solace London dress that featured the added drama of cape sleeves an Edie Parker clutch and tonal pink Kurt Geiger pumps rounded out the look.

Angela Sarafyan: This Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2017 floral-embroidered frock was an intriguing fusion between high-octane shine and a slight Victorian vibe. Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a Jimmy Choo clutch blended right in, in the best way possible.
