2019 MTV VMAs Red Carpet Roundup
More stars were at the 2019 MTV VMAs on Monday (August 26) in New Jersey. Here’s a snapshot of their looks.
Gigi Hadid: Gigi mixed sexy and sartorial lines with her nude corset and Tom Ford metallic trousers and pumps. Lorraine Schwartz jewels, with EF Collection earrings, rounded out the look.
Bella Hadid: Coordinating with sister Gigi, Bella wore a Charlotte Knowles body-con two-piece look for a more provocative take on their nude palette theme.
Adriana Lima: The supermodel donned a Sally LaPointe Resort 2020 emerald gown with Chopard jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes. Was anyone else getting mermaid vibes with the slick texture of the dress and wet-look hair?Â
Blac Chyna: Blac Chyna had fun with bubblegum-pink feathers in this Attico mini and ankle-wrap heels.
Lil Kim: If you thought Blac Chyna had brought a lot of feathers to the party, you’ll think again with Lil Kim’s look that was swimming in a sea of purple. I think most will agree that this went into garish territory, but it certainly wasn’t boring.
RosalÃa: The glamour switch was certainly turned up high on this embellished, off-the-shoulder gown and chandelier earrings. I’m not sure it was quite the right fit for the VMAs; I would have certainly left the gloves at home.
Queen Latifah: I was a fan of this coral-orange Sergio Hudson Fall 2019 suit, until I got to the fringe halfway down that interrupted the leg line. Bronze Pervis Ross jewelry as well as Givenchy shoes completed the look, but my favourite accessory was her matching coral lip.
Whitney Port: There wasn’t much to this Balmain sequin mini, given its hyper-short, leggy appeal. But, it was still a chic little number, paired with an Edie Parker bag, Stuart Weitzman sandals, and Jennifer Zeuner jewels.
