Moschino’s Spring 2019 Ad Campaign

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Bella Hadid and Adut Akech Star in Steven Meisel’s Vibrant Moschino Campaign for Spring 2019

Bella Hadid joins Vittoria Ceretti, Fran Summers, Adut Akech, Meghan Collison in fronting the Spring 2019 ad campaign for Moschino, which was styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele and lensed by Steven Meisel.

The beauty is work of hair stylist Guido Palau, and makeup artist Pat McGrath.

The kitschy collection which has so far been worn by Cardi B, Amandla Stenberg and most recently, Rita Ora, looks even more expensive, luxurious and covetable in this campaign.

I would love to see Anna Dello Russo in this collection, but since her “street style will be redundant,” statement earlier this year, I may not get my wish.

Front Row @ Dior Men Pre-Fall 2019

Dior Men’s Pre Fall 2019 Collection was showcased in Tokyo, Japan today (November 30) with a host of celebrities including Kim Jones’ BFF Kate Moss.

David Beckham: The former soccer star was decked in a Dior Men Pre-Fall 2019 suit which appeared a size too big for him. Factor in the lace up printed sneakers, and this is a rare no from me.

Bella Hadid: The model brought touch of Harajuku flavour to the front row in her Dior Men total look which included a Spring 2019 turtleneck jumper and Dior high top B23 sneakers featuring a Dior Sorayama canvas print.

Ezra Miller: Dressed in Dior Men Spring 2019, the actor was looking like a very trend science teacher. I love the flower motif jacquard gauze transparent coat.

Celebrities Love…the Prada Sidonie Bag

Celebrities Love...the Prada Sidonie Bag

Style darlings have a new bestie around; she’s curvy, chic, and cool — and she goes by the name of ‘Sidonie’. And, she’s lately been spotted on the arms of a number of PYTs.

The Prada ‘Sidonie’ bag is fresh from the Resort 2019 collection, and the purse is a beautiful union of form and function with its harmonious lines, distinct flap closure, and a leather handle that offers a polished mood for any outfit (or occasion).

The sassy red variation was spotted on Rita Ora, warming up her winter street-style look while Hailee Steinfeld went for a head-to-toe Prada look while in Bilbao, Spain for the MTV EMAs; her black bag was a sophisticated finish to her ditzy-floral granny sweater and girly hot-pink chiffon.

Other pretties the likes of Kaia Gerber, Yara Shahidi, and Bella Hadid have also been seen with the ‘Sidonie’ at their side, showing off her off with nonchalant panache — from snakeskin-spiked, urban-cowgirl style to grunge-forward denim.

After all, that versatility is what makes the bag such a beauty.

And, can we just take an extra minute to admire Yara’s two-tone athleisure statement — bag and outfit — each of which perfectly plays off the other.

No wonder the ‘Sidonie’ is the most stylish, new BFF around.

2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After-Party

2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show After-Party

The 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place in New York on Thursday (November 8), with a performance from Rita Ora.

Following the show was the after-party; where a host of models served up the expected sheer, mini and slashed dresses, but there were also a few surprises.

Candice Swanepoel: The model was looking not-so angelic in Khyeli Spring 2019 Couture. As sheer dresses go, I love the beaded detailing.

Liu Wen: The model never goes the sheer route, but she did on this occasion wearing a look from Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini’s Spring 2019 collection.

Toni Garrn: This golden girl managed to leave something to the imagination in her draped chain metal dress styled with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

Bella Hadid x True Religion Event

Bella Hadid x True Religion Event

True Religion unveiled their latest muse, Bella Hadid at an event on Thursday (October 18) in Los Angeles, California.

I’m not sure if the look she was going for was Cindy Crawford circa 1980, but she looks more like a Bratz doll with that terrible hair piece.

Animal print ‘ Marie Jane Bucket’ bag and ‘ Drama Douce’ pumps from Christian Louboutin completed her look.

Natalia Vodianova’s Naked Heart Event

Natalia Vodianova's Naked Heart Event

There were many show-stopping ensembles at Natalia Vodianova’s Naked Heart Event on Thursday (September 27) in Paris, France.

Natalia Vodianova: The organization’s founder has a tradition of donning red for grand events and this was no exception. She showed some leg in an Alexandre Vauthier polka dot dress. I mean it in a positive fashion that it brings to mind a designer Minnie Mouse style because of the pattern and rounded shoulders.

Bella Hadid: The model showcased Jean Paul Gaultier’s mastery of corsetry in a vintage gown with AS29 earrings. The whittled bodice against the pleated side panels has such a striking column impact which is enhanced by the electric coral and pink.

You Tube Fashion & Beauty Party

YT Fashion & Beauty

There was a bit of everything at the You Tube Fashion & Beauty party during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday (September 26) in Paris, France.

Bella Hadid: Most people think of Emilio Pucci and think prints and associate the model with sexy, trendy looks. So, this more restrained Fall 2018 dress from the designer with Dorateymur ‘The Investment’ bag was a surprise. The ruching brings some allure.

Victoria Beckham: It’s no surprise that the fashion designer was clad in Victoria Beckham. She is her label’s best model and will likely have everyone wearing pale yellow trousers with diaphanous muted pink tops. Even with the light fabric there is still a strong sense of tailoring.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: The supermodel was in full party mode in Attico Spring 2018. It’s a fun showgirl-inspired piece that might look out of place compared to the previous looks, but others bought into the mood.
