‘The Lion King’ World Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

‘The Lion King’ world premiere brought out some of Hollywood’s brightest young celebrities on Tuesday (July 9).

Skai Jackson:  The teen star usually opts for look which have a fun vibe, however on this occasion she rocked what looks like a simple blazer dress, but detail spanning this Cong Tri Fall 2019 piece gives this look an edge. She was probably the best dressed at this event alongside Blue Ivy.

Chloe x Halle:  Perfectly co-ordinated in black, Chloe Bailey kept things simple in an oversized suit, while Disney’s ‘Little Mermaid,’ Halle Bailey, rocked a Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini mini with Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Janice’ boots, and Sydney Evan jewels.

Florence Kasumba: Dazzled her way into my heart wearing a Jenny Packham black and gold sequin embellished gown from the Fall 2019 collection

Shahadi Wright Joseph:  At first I was in awe of her Miu Miu lilac embellished gown, then I fell in love with those gorgeous curls.

Logan Browning:  The actress was one of many who opted to wear black at this event, donning a look from Prabal Gurung.   Even with the yellow pumps, I felt this look was too serious and ageing for Logan.

Meghan Trainor:  I was happy to see yet more animal print at this premiere, but I wish Meghan’s bra didn’t steal focus from her Christian Siriano Spring 2019 dress.  I think a black bodysuit like the one we saw on the runway would’ve worked better for me. Olgana Paris ‘L’Amazone’ mink fur sandals, an Atelier Swarovski ‘Kintsugi’ box clutch plus CSARITE Fine Jewelry by Alex Soldier and David Alan jewels completed her look.

I still think Michelle Williams is the best dressed of event.
I like Skais ruffled sleeves design but the rest of it looks like cheap material.
    Logan looks way too aged.

I really like Skai’s outfit and Chloe’s oversized suit but it needed a slight hem job.

Halle looks cute, so excited to see her as Ariel! No one else really stands out in a good way here.

Me too. It’s my favourite Disney film of ALL time. I have watched it a million times, always cry at the same things, and know the whole thing word for word.

I thought it was going to go to Zendaya, but upon hearing Halle’s singing voice, she is the perfect person to play Ariel.
