Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Chadwick Boseman: 'The Black Godfather' LA Premiere

There has been a host of well-dressed gents hitting the red carpet the past seven days, and who better than to start with than Chadwick Boseman.

Chadwick Boseman: The Black Godfather’ LA Premiere:  It looks like the bomber suit is becoming a thing.  First with Nick Jonas, and now with Chadwick.  While Chadwick’s is also by Ermenegildo Zegna XXX, this  is a far better interpretation of the trend.  In style, colour and fabrication.

Chris Hemworth: 'Men In Black: International' Paris Photocall:

Chris Hemworth:  ‘Men In Black: International’ Paris Photocall:  I may have been lusting over Tessa Thompson at this photocall, but I had plenty of love in reserve for Chris in his Etro Spring 2019 burgundy paisley motif suit.  I’ve often said that blue is his colour, but looking at this picture, he looks good in just about anything.  I love that he’s one of the many actors who are spicing things up on the red carpet.

Darren Criss: 'Rocketman' New York Premiere:

Darren Criss: ‘Rocketman’ New York Premiere: One who’s always ahead of the pack when it comes to intriguing menswear is Darren Criss.  In this case it was merely the Dior Men by Kim Jones grey and blue technical jacquard ‘tailleur oblique’ jacket with metallic finish, that made all the difference.

Evan Peters: 'X-Men: Dark Phoenix' LA Premiere:

Evan Peters: ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ LA Premiere:  This Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello look seems pretty standard.  Black suit with a printed shirt for contrast.

Michael B. Jordan: Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

Michael B. Jordan:  Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic:   Keeping a suave, clean profile, I love the crispness of his white shirt against his Dior Men blue checked suit.  Do we like the tan Oxford shoes with the silver trim?   For me it all works.
