Lucy Boynton’s Pastel Blue Hair For The 2019 Met Gala

Lucy Boynton’s breathtaking Met Gala look, marked the red carpet debut of her light blue locks created by Eddie Cook, and styled by Suave Celeb Stylist Jenny Cho.

Jenny said, “When I saw the sketch of her Prada dress, I envisioned Lucy as a fairy walking through magical fields of delicate and dainty fresh baby spring flowers. So, we decided to put on a rinse over her hair and make it dusty blue to give the hair a fairy bend, complete with a headpiece made of soft pastel flowers.”

To recreate the look, start with Suave Professionals Rose Oil Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner.

On towel dried hair, apply a drop of the Suave Professionals Sleek Anti-Frizz Smooth & Shine Cream and layer with Suave Professionals Firm Control Boosting Mousse.

Blow dry hair with the small round brush.

Mist each section with Sam McKnight Hairspray before using a flat iron to create a flat bend.

Lightly tease 1/2 inch on the roots and mist Suave Professionals Firm Control Hairspray all over to prepare for the headpiece.

The look was complete with a LELET NY headpiece for the final touch.

I thought and still think Lucy’s hair was horrible but I did enjoy reading about how it was accomplished. Thanks for the terrific coverage of the Met Gala. That was a lot of work. Will you be doing more of these beauty looks? If so, I am begging for one on Janelle Monae’s beauty look. I thought it was impeccable.
