Elizabeth McGovern In Lush Velvet At ‘The Chaperone’ New York Premiere

Elizabeth McGovern In Christopher Kane - 'The Chaperone' New York Premiere

Elizabeth McGovern was back on the red carpet to promote her latest film, ‘The Chaperone’ in New York City on Monday (March 25).

We haven’t seen much of the actress since she played Cora Crawley, Countess of Grantham in ‘Downton Abbey’, so I was delighted to see her back on the red carpet for this premiere.

I’m sure you instantly recognize this red velvet Christopher Kane dress, as we were all swooning over it when Maya Jama wore it to the ‘Remarkable Women’ Awards earlier this month.

I will always been drawn to a dress like this.

The colour, the lush velvet fabric, the sensual off-the-shoulder and the midi length – which I personally find very sexy (while other may feel it’s demure) – all combine to present contemporary sophistication.

Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie Collection diamond cut earrings and rings from the L’Heure Du Diamant Collection completed her look.
