Thandie Newton looked as proud as punch to be the plus one to her daughter Rico Parker at the world premiere of her Disney’s ‘Dumbo’ on Monday (March 11) in Los Angeles, California.

The like mother-like-daughter similarities continued to their velvet mini dresses, with Thandie opting for an Oscar de la Renta deep burgundy strapless Fall 2019 dress, featuring a fringed drape for added drama.

This look feels like departure from the colourful, print looks we’re used to seeing from Thandie, but I love the synchronicity between her and Rico.
