Thandie Newton In Michael Kors Collection – ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’ World Premiere

It was a family affair at the London premiere of ‘ Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’ on Monday evening with Thandie Newton and two of her three children in tow (17-year-old Ripley dressed in Mary Katrantzou, and 13-year-old Nico dress in Alice + Olivia) supporting director, husband and daddy, Ol Parker, who also wrote the highly-anticipated sequel.

The stunning ‘Westworld’ star took to the red carpet wearing a Michael Kors Collection Fall 2018 white-and-black portrait-print dress which she styled with Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Carrie Crystal’ sandals.

Thandie always love to bring character and flavour to her red carpet looks. I love how the graphic print makes this a statement piece, without stealing the attention from the main stars.

I bet it only took her 5 minutes to get ready, yet she looks stunning.

Thandie Newton In Attico – SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations: ‘Westworld’

Thandie Newton discusses ‘Westworld’ during SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations on Thursday (June 14) in New York City.

The British actress wore a chic Attico top and trouser floral combo, which was given an edge with the asymmetrical neckline and subtle diamante detailing.

Thandie always selects eye-catching jewels from her favourite jeweller Solange Azagury-Partridge, but on this occasion I was also enamored by her punchy polka-dot sandals.

Flawless as always.

Thandie Newton In Rodarte – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ London Screening

After a packed schedule of several TV appearances, Thandie Newton ended her day with a special screening of ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story,’ to celebrate the film’s BFI Film Academy trainees at BFI Southbank this evening (May 23) in London.

The actress wore a Rodarte Fall 2018 dress full of the moody romanticism for which the brand is known.

The bold red frock spliced with hyper-feminine details such as the butterfly embroidery and tired skirt is beautiful, but sparkling tulle underlay was tricky in the wrong light. Thankfully I found a flattering picture.

If I was to nitpick, I do wish the straps had been a tad shorter for the bodice to sit a bit higher, but all in all, Thandie sold this look to me. I’m not sure many others could.

Thandie Newton In Johanna Ortiz & Duro Olowu – Despierta America & ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Photocall

Thandie Newton continues to showcase her love of prints after dazzling in Vivienne Westwood Couture at Cannes. First, she paid a visit to Despierta America in Miami, Florida on Tuesday (May 8). Then she attended the ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ London photocall on Friday (May 18).

Despierta America: It’s hard not to smile at this Johanna Ortiz Spring 2018 dress with its layers and vivacious print. Critics might say the graphic shoes distract from the frock, but they make it more than just another pretty summer dress. Adjusting the straps on the necklace gave it a flirtier finish.

‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ London Photocall: Taking a more geometric direction, the actress wore a Duro Olowu Fall 2018 style. The designer is known for his energetic prints. The way this look seamlessly blends so many styles shows why. The white shoes and soft beauty look add to the joie de vivre feeling.

Thandie Newton In Vivienne Westwood Couture for The Green Carpet Challenge – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Following the photocall, I was excited to see what Thandie Newton would be serving up at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ this evening (May 15).

The British actress wore a custom Vivienne Westwood Couture gown, printed with images of Thandie’s personal Star Wars figurine collection.

Each character was photographed by Christian Hogstedt and was layered over the iconic Vivienne Westwood ‘Absence of Roses’ print.

The print was created especially as an homage to Thandie’s first appearance in the motion-picture franchise.

If you were thinking, “this is just another standard Westwood dress,” hopefully the back story with encourage you to look again at this gown with fresh eyes.
