Nico Parker In Gucci – ‘Dumbo’ LA Premiere

Nico Parker In Gucci - ‘Dumbo’ LA Premiere

When it comes to talent, style, beauty and enviable hair, Nico Parker, daughter of Thandie Newton, proved that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree at the world premiere of Disney’s ‘Dumbo’ on Monday (March 11) in Los Angeles, California.

The 14-year-old actress, who is making her movie debut, wore a Gucci forest-green velvet dress punctuated by a signature pink satin bow that lends a charming touch that speaks to Alessandro Michele’s strong sense of romance.

At such a young age, do you go for twee ballgowns for the Disney film, or mature with a youthful flourish?

It must be a dilemma for most stylists with teen clients. I’m glad Jason Bolden opted to go for the latter.

Green Gucci sandals and jewels from Mikimoto and Ippolita completed her major moment.

She looks plasticised, like a doll. I think it’s the eyes. Whatever it is, it’s disturbing.

She looks cute and age appropriate.

The dress is cute, and the overall style is similar to Skai Jackson’s (which I adore) but the eye makeup is way too strong for the young girl.

Perfect for a 14-year-old. Gorgeous hair!

    Absolutely love this!

I concur there is definitely somthing to be said here about an apple and a tree! Whilst I agree with the poster below that nepotism in Hollywood is tiresome, one cannot deny Nico looks enchanting in this.

It’s a cute look and the bow nods to Disney. I like the sandals too.

The look is amazing but she definitely doesn’t look 14 and is that okay? Not so sure.

She’s inherited her mama’s style as well as looks. I find it entirely appropriate. Pretty much perfect in fact.

… is it wrong that I have major hair envy?

On an adult the bow would have looked silly but Nico looks great. I am still not sure about dark eye makeup with a dark velvet dress on someone her age but the shoes and the hair add a nice youthful flair.

I don’t like this, as she looks like an adult and she’s not.
Plus, I’m tired of seeing celebrities pushing their child to become famous, so young, just because their parents are famous.

This is just so catty. First of all she looks completely age appropriate. And secondly from what I gather most actors would rather not see their children get into acting but they often show interest in what their parents are doing. I don’t see it as any different than a farmers child following in their parents footsteps. She’s a beautiful girl and her mother looks super proud of her, that’s really all that matters.

      It’s a lovely dress.

I agree with you. Tired of celebrity kids getting breaks because they’re celebrity kids. I think she looks cute though.
