Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Emilia Wickstead - Official Opening Of The Extension Of The ANZAC Memorial

On Saturday (October 20) Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry attended the official opening of the extension of the ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park in Sydney, Australia.

Meghan selected a black dress by Emilia Wickstead, which she paired with a hat by Philip Treacy.

You may be surprised that Meghan has selected Emilia Wickstead since those comments about her wedding dress, but this isn’t the first time she has worn the designer since then.

Emilia Wickstead isn’t Australian – she was born in New Zealand.

However, The Anzac Memorial, designed in the 1930s by Bruce Dellitt, honors not just Australian soldiers, but also New Zealand ones and the sacrifices they made.

So this has a lot of significance aside from this ladylike ‘Camila’ dress, with its high neckline, being appropriate for the formal occasion.

Tabitha Simmons ‘Millie’ pumps, Pippa Small jewels and a Givenchy clutch completed her look.

You may remember that Jenna Coleman wore the same dress back in June in white.
