Thandie Newton In Carolina Herrera – Variety’s Power Of Women: Los Angeles

Thandie Newton In Carolina Herrera - Variety's Power Of Women Los Angeles

Thandie Newton has been busy promoting her new project, ‘Liyana’, but took time to celebrate Variety’s Power of Women event in Los Angeles on Friday (October 12).

We have seen a lot less colour from Thandie since the Emmys, but she’s still dotty about polka patterns.

This monochromatic piece from Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2019 collection was fun and feminine, combining a modest length with a contemporary construction.

I can’t see her shoes, but I’m imagining a playful pair of black and white sandals that were equally as punchy as this print.

Thandie is my ‘consistently interesting style’ nom for the end of year round-up, that’s for sure.

Love her natural hair and make up. She’s really letting her natural beauty shine here.

She’s so consistently fabulous. Everything about her is goals. Love the dress, hair, everything.

Love the dress on model . Love thandie but the length and proportions are not good on her ..

Love the dress. Her hair is gorgeous but for a dress with this much volume I wish she had worn her hair up or tied back.

I prefer the runway length but Thandie really sells it and looks so full of joie de vivre.

I am a big fan of Thandie’s style but I am not totally loving this look. Above the portion that is white with black dots, this works and she looks great as per. The bottom part of the dress is just too much fabric for Thandie’s small frame and the dress is too long for her.
