Jaeger-LeCoultre Gala Dinner

Jaeger-LeCoultre Gala Dinner

Jaeger-LeCoultre, official partner of the Venice International Film Festival for the 14th consecutive year, hosted a dinner at the Venetian Arsenal on Tuesday (September 4), to celebrate the art of filmmaking, while showcasing a retrospective exhibition of 185 years of Jaeger-LeCoultre watchmaking.

We’ve seen Dakota Fanning and Araya A. Hargate, here is a look at the other attendees.

Bruna Marquezine: The model wore a fiery Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 Haute Couture embellished dress styled with René Caovilla’s signature leg-wrap pumps for a scene-stealing entrance, but this isn’t the first time this look has hit the red carpet. You may remember that Monica Bellucci wore this dress back in February.

Fala Chen: This Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 dress was also a re-run. Natalie Portman wore this dress, also in Febrary to the premiere of ‘Annihilation’, but I much prefer Nataliie’s black lining over Fala’s nude.

Sarah Gadon: The only thing I like about this Miu Miu look are the accessories. The contrast bodice needed a bit more structure.

Maria Ivakova: The Russian TV presenter gave us perhaps our last look from the Christian Dior Resort 2018 collection. You’ll be glad she opted to line the look from the runway.

Much prefer the nude lining on Fala. It adds a punch. Everything black is just boring.

Me too…. black on black felt too heavy.

Love Bruna’s look. Very sexy even though she’s seemingly covered up.

Love the first two, dresses, especially the Valentino. I like this lining better than Portman’s. I like Bruno better than Monica in the red dress.

Agree to disagree on the lining on Fala’s dress.

Both Natalie and Fala looked beautiful in the Valentino, IA about the lining, black > nude.

I much prefer the black lining version.

I didn’t like Monica’s shoe choice but Bruna wasn’t on par with Monica in that dress.

I actually like this version of the Valentino dress; it looks more ethereal to me (her gracefulness sure helps!).

      I couldn’t agree more!
