Venice Film Festival Weekend Roundup

Here is a roundup of the stunning gowns which hit the Venice Film Festival carpet this weekend.

Giulia Bevilacqua: If you were in any doubt, Giulia did her best to let you know that she’s arrived at the festival, sweeping, almost literally, the red carpet in Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini. Beautiful woman. Equally beautiful gown, but I would’ve loved to have seen some earrings here.

Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva: The one thing we don’t usually expect from a Film Festival is a fashion forward moment, but Lola was on hand to provide it wearing Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2017 Couture. It’s fairly simple in construction, but the maximum impact is everlasting.

Diamand Bou Abboud: This Elie Saab Fall 2014 gown hails from one of my favourite collections from the designer. From the rich hue to the velvet trims, I’m in lust with this gown.

Valentina Lodovini: Receiving the ‘Kineo Diamanti’ Award for Best Actress, Valentina wore a sheer lilac Schiaparelli gown.

Rita Hayek: The actress also opted for Elie Saab, wearing a halter lace and chiffon layered look styled with a gold Elie Saab signature clutch.
