No one should be surprised that Kirsten Dunst stars in Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s directorial debut for ‘Woodshock’.
The film, which has been guarded with secrecy so far, was presented at a photocall during Venice Film Festival this afternoon (September 4).
Kirsten was naturally in Rodarte, wearing a sheer top and trousers from the Spring 2018 collection.
The brands cool-girl credentials give way to enchanting florals within a look which exudes vintage and boho charm.
Since Cannes I have been fully on board with Kirsten’s bolder red carpet looks.
This might not be favoured by everyone, but give me this over a button-up granny frock any day.
I think she totally nailed the look.

So happy I saw the second Rodarte outing first cause this is just ugly!
Frumpy and sheer. Dislike her hair. Have enjoyed many of her past looks this year but this is not one of them. The Venice festival started out so promisingly but seems to be devolving into a parade of sheer fugliness.
I hate the fact that it’s sheer but the overall look suits her aesthetic and I can’t help but be charmed by it. She looks great (Although her premiere look is miles better!).
I think she actually looks pretty great, the print keeps it from looking dated and/or aging and she absolutely sells it.
(that said, in one of the close-ups I can totally make out the pattern of the lace her undoes are made of, which sadly brings the look down a whole lot.)
it’s a mess, my brain can’t comprehend the outfit. But the Mulleavy sisters look stunning.
Her undies is way too much on display. I also hate the amount of fabric here. With her hair and fabric she is lost in all this, well, except for her crotch. I despise this.
taking the words right out of my mouth.
the pattern is nice, but it is too much fabric and too see through.

I really like it, she’s totally selling it.

I like this ankles up.
if i couldn’t see her panties, i would have loved this but i can therefore i don’t
I can see her underwear and the fit is weird around her hips and her crotch (apologies for using the term).
Although I am sick of sheer, the dress looks much better on the model

Sans sleeves and with a better hairstyle I might have liked this.
This is a lot of fabric, but she carries it off with flair and confidence. I love it!
