Kate Beckinsale hits the streets of NYC in Blumarine & Aritzia

We’ve recently seen Kate Beckinsale impressing on the promo circuit for her latest film, ‘The Only Living Boy In New York.’ And, she took to the streets of New York City in equally inspired form while out and about on Tuesday (August 8).

Her first look of the day saw her capture fairy-tale romance and her love of girly style in a Blumarine dress with floral embroidery from the VIP Capsule Collection. Pastel pink pumps and her signature ponytail added to the flirty charm of the dress.

Later that day, she changed into something a bit less sweet, instead opting for relaxed, flowing ease. The pairing of an Aritzia blush-tinged camisole with cropped white pants and a long robe-style duster infused a bit of the boudoir spirit into this look that still maintained its level of sophistication. Plus, I always love seeing her boundless waves worn down for a change.

The Blumarine dress is amazing. I wish we had a better view of it.

I don’t like the first look, the dress just looks twee and not right for her, not a flattering silhouette for her. The second one is alright.

Back when I started following this site, Kate used to be one of my fashion crushes. Her Jil Sander look at the “Whiteout” LA premiere, her Andrew Gn look at a MOCA event, her 2010 Cannes run… Just flawless. But sometime along the way she started becoming predictable.

I have to say, this promo tour is reminding me of the good old days.

Love both of these, but the second one is my favourite, as I enjoy the luxe feeling she gives to these basic items.

I agree 100%….It took me back to her good old days too. She’s highly underrated

I usually love her style but I don’t like either of these looks. The first one manages to be meh despite everything that is going on with that look and the second one looks like it is trying very hard but failing at being relaxed and flowing.

The 1st is charming, the 2nd not so much – a mix of bland fabric.
