Soul Train Awards 2013 Red Carpet Roundup
On Friday night many more stars joined Jennifer Hudson on the red carpet for the Soul Train Awards 2013, held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Toni Braxton: The singer donned a nude Amato Fall 2013 Couture sleeveless lace gown; keeping the look minimalistic by adding stud earrings and a ring. A berry matte lip and signature pixie crop hairstyle completed her look.
Janelle Monae: It was black-and-white once again for the singer who worked an Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2013 Couture look featuring a white blouse with a high pony collar, a black jacket and white ankle length pants. Jimmy Choo ‘Fey’ sandals, a DVF ‘Lytton’ zebra stripe clutch and her signature red pout pompadour hairdo provided the finishing touches.
Ashanti: The singer continued the sheer trend wearing a Reeve beaded v-neck gown styled with nude pumps.
Michelle Williams: The singer wore a mint-green-and-black Leila Shams Fall 2013 printed frock styled with black sandals. Pretty, but not enough for an awards do.
Sevyn Streeter: The singer wore a pretty LaQuan Smith laser cut mini dress. My issue is that there is too much boobage going on for my liking and the Saint Laurent shoes are so very wrong for this frock.
Faith Evans: I almost didn’t recognise the singer having always associated her with having blonde hair. Faith wore a long sleeve, lightly embellished Hervé Léger by Max Azria black-and-gold-tone printed dress with black Giuseppe Zanotti black sandals.
