Blake Lively’s Gucci Première Commercial

We’ve seen the print ads for Blake Lively as the face of the Gucci Premiere fragrance, now we can see her in action looking gorgeous in the Nicolas Winding Refn directed commercial channeling timeless Hollywood glamour for the fragrance.

Wearing a spectacular Gucci Première gold backless long-sleeve gown and sporting a golden glow with flowing wavy locks, she takes centre stage spritzing herself with the fragrance.

Then we see another snippet of the video with Blake in the desert wearing a high-slit petrol-blue gown as the wind billows her skirt.

There is no doubt that Blake is the perfect ambassador for Gucci, but what do you think of her commercial?

You can purchase the Gucci Première fragrance from Selfridges.

Can I purchase the gold dress worn in the commercial?

I think Blake is perfect for Gucci and whether you admit it or not she has an amazing body. However this ad is bad, It definitely reminds me of the Dior “j’adore” ad. I’m a bit bummed, because I was expecting something more creative. This is a lazy work

Its like they’re trying to recreate Charlize’s J’adore but failed miserably. Blake has a sick body but damn she’s so wooden and painful in this ad.

    She should stick to stills

I want to push her chin up and close her mouth. It doesn’t look sexy, it looks like she’s a mouth breather. Ugh.

So, the mouth of that Gucci girl is always open. Kind of weird. I don’t like her face in this commercial but she’s rocking that dress!

I’m confused why Refn was hired to direct this..? Couldn’t get Michael Bay?

I agree with previous comments – she is a beautiful woman but she doesn’t have the sex appeal that they were clearly going for. Even when she’s srutting down the hallway she just looks awkward.

I love love LOVE the gowns on her. I like her face better in profile. I think the Gucci-Lively pairing is a good one and that the ad evokes glitzy- glam.

Best thing I’ve seen all day!

The Gucci commercial with Evan Rachel Wood and Chris Evans is soooo much better

LOL, Is that her sexy face? she looks like she got lost in the woods and couldn’t use her Google maps application on her Iphone because she forgot to charge it.

I dont like the ad. I prefer chanel ad and dior ad because it’s more simple, more fresh, more classy and less cheap.

Blake is really amazing but I don’t like the idea of the commercial, if there is any

Love the ad! She looks fab, those legs go on for miles, love the camera angles….and that music is pulsating and vibrant! Makes me want to get up off my chair and walk around my office as if it was a ramp, lol! Only teeny gripe is that I was wishing for a slighly bold, more vibrant lip colour but I suppose they really were going for a one-on-one gold effect, head to toe. She rocked it. The walk is saying: here I am, here I come, world, watch out.

  15. Anna August 3, 2012 at 12:47 #

Her body is rocking and the sequined dress is gorgeous I’ll say that. But the commercial just looks so awkward and Blake looks uncomfortable/trying to hard to be seductive.

Nicolas Winding Refn should stick to full lenght movies.

Am I the only one who thinks Blake totally sounds like a male at the end of the commercial?

I was expecting so much more from Refn considering he’s one of the most talented filmakers around. Anyway there’s no denying that Blake does look perfect.

  16. Leela August 3, 2012 at 12:46 #

Her facial expressions look really over the top and fake. Dress is pretty but I don’t get the hype around her, she doesn’t really stand out

I love Blake but I expected more form this ad. A little bit disappointed.

+1 Love Blake but she is painfully wooden in this ad…maybe the occasion overwhelmed her? Such a shame.

loved it! especially the part with the behind-the-scene´s scenes :p It´s nice break from the usual ads imo. I want to see these gowns on the redcarpet.

  19. Kathy August 3, 2012 at 12:09 #

First Chanel, now Gucci? Wow, this girl is in demand. She IS really gorgeous.

  20. Lisa August 3, 2012 at 12:05 #

Really should be amazing but it just looks really awkward. Reminds me somehow of the Dior ad with Charlize Theron… In a bad way.

    • dunzoo August 3, 2012 at 12:36 #

+1 looks like a very cheap version of Theron golden femme fatale look ; there’s no intensity, no sexiness, Blake’s facial expressions just makes me want to have a nap
