Jessica Chastain In Chanel Couture – ‘In The Fade (Aus Dem Nichts)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Aiming to be the golden girl of the night again, Jessica Chastain was back on the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘In The Fade (Aus Dem Nichts)’, while fellow juror Fan Bingbing was at the ‘L’Amant Double (Amant Double)’ premiere.

I have to say I wasn’t complete sold on this Chanel Couture gown until I saw the back.

Much like her Prada look yesterday, the open-back gives this look a different, fresher dimension.

While it’s not on par with her other looks during this festival – especially the Armani Prive, this is a beautiful look which almost possesses a regal air, but that could just be the woman herself.

Piaget jewels and a simple ponytail completed the look.

Diane Kruger In Jason Wu – ‘In The Fade (Aus Dem Nichts)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Diane Kruger was back on the red carpet this evening for the Cannes Film Festival of ‘In The Fade (Aus Dem Nichts)’.

Having worn BOSS for the photocall (Jason Wu is head womenwear designer), and seen Jason Wu in town for the amfAR gala with Diane, and since Diane collaborated with Jason for his GREY Jason Wu Capsule Collection, it was easy to deduce that Diane was going to wear Jason Wu this evening.

After the near-naked frenzy of Bella Hadid’s amfAR gown yesterday, you may feel that this lined sheer embellished dress is considerably demure in comparison.

I would’ve disliked the runway version – immensely – however, her version is a beautiful way to present this trend.

The German actress has already had a big gown moment, so here was her chance to go sexy and modern, and she succeeded.

Paz Vega In Armani Privé – ‘In The Fade (Aus Dem Nichts)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Paz Vega attended the second premiere taking place during Cannes Film Festival tonight (May 26); ‘In The Fade (Aus Dem Nichts)’.

Her Armani Prive Fall 2016 shimmering column gown is a classically glamorous style which is incredibly flattering on her statuesque frame.

The dangling Chopard earrings and satin sandals complete a look of modern elegance, but I can’t help but wish she switched up her hairstyle just once during this festival.

Praya Lundberg In Rami Kadi Couture – ‘L’Amant Double (Amant Double)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Praya Lundberg glided down the red carpet this evening (May 26) for the ‘L’Amant Double (Amant Double)’ premiere during Cannes Film Festival.

Midnight blue and pink has one of my favourite colour combinations.

Add some embellishment and feathers into the mix and you have me falling in love with this Rami Kadi Couture gown.

We’ve had many princess moments, yet this one feels very modern with the full, floor-sweeping skirt making this a majestic silhouette.

De Grisogono earrings rounded out the stunning look.

Fan Bingbing In Christopher Bu – ‘L’Amant Double (Amant Double)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Fan Bingbing and Christopher Bu were reunited for the ‘L’Amant Double (Amant Double)’ premiere during Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 26), metaphorically speaking.

Who can forget that breath-taking crane dress which made the Asian actress world famous back in 2011.

On this occasion the piece wasn’t as dramatic, but still stunning.

I love the ‘winged’ structure with its drapey cut and selective embroidery to create maximal visual flair.

The easy sophistication of this look was amped up with a simple top-knot, De Beers jewels and a gold Elie Saab clutch.

Izabel Goulart In Zuhair Murad Couture – ‘L’Amant Double (Amant Double)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Izabel Goulart was holding the fort for the model contingent during the ‘L’Amant Double (Amant Double)’ premiere during Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 26).

I love Izabel, and totally buy into her brand of sexy red carpet dressing, but I have been a tad underwhelmed by her Cannes run this year.

This Zuhair Murad Spring 2017 Couture gown is stunning – her best yet I have to say – but all her gowns have been in this similar colour, all sparkling, all column silhouette.

Rise and repeat. Rise and repeat.

Give us something new.
