Fashion Rocks was held in Brazil for the first time this year.

The event featured four international fashion designers, including Marc Jacobs, Versace, Givenchy, and Calvin Klein with live performances from Mariah Carey, Estelle, P.Diddy, Grace Jones and Ciara.

The line-up also featured four national fashion designers - Lenny, Andre Lima, Alexandre Herchcovith and Lino Vilaventura paired with four performers including Lulu Santos, Daniela Mercury, Wanessa and Ja Rule.

Donatella Versace wore 2 gowns from her recent Spring 2010 collection.

The first was a lilac strapless gown which she had modified by removing the white details on the bodice, and lowering the central split.

This colour is fabulous on her.

The second was an asymmetrical angelic white gown with silver triangle shaped embellishments.

Again the split was lowered and the cut-out detail on the side of the gown on the runway, doesn’t appear on Donatella’s gown.

This was my favourite gown of the two.

Fernanda Lima hosted the show looking amazing wearing the same red Versace Fall 2009 gown Blake Lively wore to the Emmy’s.

She looked equally, if not more speculator in this jaw-dropping gown.

Isabeli Fontana wowed wearing a canary yellow Atelier Versace Fall 2007 halter gown.

I thought the only model who could provide this kind of jaw-dropping moment was Gisele Bundchen.

She’s back.

After months of quite boring black ensembles, Estelle was back to her colourful best wearing a very interesting futuristic Manish Arora Fall 2009 dress of yellow, orange, red maroon and black.

The textured dress was paired with a grey Fendi clutch and Christian Louboutin Calypso heels as worn by Blake Lively last week.

Fernanda Motta and Alessandra Ambrosio arrived at this event together.

Fernanda wore a black satin Versace Fall 2009 wrap dress, which is the same dress we saw on Janet Jackson recently, whilst Alessandra showed off her enviable figure in a taupe halter neck gown embellished with precious stones.

Ciara confirmed via her twitter page that she is going to be Riccardo Tisci new muse for Givenchy, so it was no surprised to see her decked out in a Givenchy Spring 2009 ensemble.

Her embellished cold-shoulder top was paired with a leather pocketed mini skirt to show-off those toned legs.

Gemma Arterton has been quite frustrating on the red carpet since the end of her “Quantum Of Solace” promotional tour, but she was back to her best this weekend.

The former Bond Girl showed off her stunning curvy figure as she walked the red carpet at the “Disappearance Of Alice Creed” during London Film Festival.

She looked elegant wearing a L’Wren Scott Fall 2008 fitted black dress which unites glamour and sex appeal in one perfectly cut silhouette.

I love the bejeweled bodice, and her glossy hair.

She accessorized with sky high peep toes and a black clutch covered in black crystals.

Remember a time when Naomi Campbell starred in a PETA ad proclaiming she’d rather go naked than wear fur?

Well that was 15 years ago, and whilst the supermodel still looks as stunning as ever her stance on fur has changed, because she happily wore a fur trimmed coat to the “Thurgood Marshall College Fund Fashion Show” in New York this weekend.

Under her coat Naomi wore a black fitted Dolce & Gabbana dress with square toed Alexander McQueen black heels.

The supermodels change of heart may have come about after being named as face Dennis Basso’s furs.

In the campaign the model wears a series of luxurious coats made from Russian sable.

These coats sell for up to £126,750 each, so imagine what her fee was.

Before I get to fashion, Rachel Adedeji made a total fool of herself on Saturday night as she morphed into Stacey Solomon. I was so embarrassed for her and annoyed she wasn’t in the bottom two.

Back to fashion.

It was week 3 and Cheryl Cole wore her 3rd Atelier Versace look in a row.

This time she opted for a stunning Grecian style asymmetrical Atelier Versace Spring 2009 gown with a thigh-high split, which we’ve seen before on the red carpet.

The gown was stunning, but I wasn’t happy with the hair.

I understand that her stylist was going for a goddess look, but the part that dangled loosely just bothered me all night, plus the silver headpiece was a bit much with her big hair.

Had she simply pulled her hair back and let the gown do all the talking, I would’ve loved this look.

Once again I struggled to find Dannii Minogue’s gown, but I just had to feature her because she was DROP-DEAD-GORGEOUS on Saturday night.

She wore a breath-taking antique silver embellished gown with exquisite Boucheron jewels and YSL heels whilst sporting old Hollywood marcel waves.

Definitely up for BDOTW.

On Sunday’s result show Cheryl wore a silver paillette Julien Macdonald Spring 2010 mini dress with nude panels and bold shoulders.

The silver paillette’s gave the dress a fish-scale type of look, which she paired with Rupert Sanderson Plato sling back peep-toes.

It was a bold choice for Cheryl, but it wasn’t my favourite look on her. It worked better on the runway.

I really hope she wears Look 32 as that was my favourite from Macdonald’s Spring 2010 collection.

Dannii blew me away again wearing a nude dress with a peplum on one hip, with a dripping effect of embellished details on her dress.

I have a feeling this one is by her favourite designer J’Aton Couture.

I hate pitting them against each other, but it was Dannii’s week.

Update: Dannii confirmed via Twitter that both of her looks are by J’Aton Couture.

Uber model Iman OWNED this claret Donna Karan sequined halter neck gown when she arrived at the “2009 American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala” in New York City earlier this month.

I loved everything about this look which I named BDOTW, from Iman’s matching lipstick, to her silky hair, to her glowing skin, to her jewels and her supermodel stance.

She was perfection personified and I was sure no one else would follow her in this gown.

Then last night Eva Green walked the red carpet in London to attend a screening of ‘Cracks’ during London Film Festival wearing the same dress.

ONSD…(Oh No She Didn’t)

This is like someone trying to cover a classic Michael Jackson song…it can’t be beaten. Nothing is better than the original, so don’t even try.

OK maybe I’m being over dramatic, but Eva did pick the wrong shade of lipstick for this dress.

Iman wins this by a country mile.

Many of you were very vocal about your surprise that Blake Lively took an early lead in the poll this week.

The Gossip Girl actress was the eventual winner, wearing an elegant Victoria Beckham Spring 2010 black peplum dress with a lust worthy pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

Jennifer puts this win down to Blake “owning this look”, and Justme said “I think the reason Blake is winning is because it’s harder to pull off fabulosity in a simple VB black dress, whereas it’s easy to do so in a beautiful gown”.

Hilary Swank was my favourite wearing a stunning Vionnet Grecian gown.

She glows and the gown flatters her figure.

Hilary looked so regal red carpet at the Amelia premiere, it took me back to the 2005 Oscars when she was a knock-out in the stunning navy blue Guy Laroche gown.

It gave me that same special feeling which is partly because of the gown, but also because of Vionnet’s rich history.
