Vicky Krieps Wore Bottega Veneta To The 2026 Cabourg Film Festival
Vicky Krieps attended the 40th Cabourg Film Festival this weekend, where she served as a jury member and also presented her film L’Illusion de Yakushima.
I’m sure you guessed she was wearing Bottega Veneta for two reasons: first, she is an ambassador for the label, and second, because of the oversized fit. When it comes to Bottega Veneta, Vicky always seems drawn to looks that are a size or two too big.
Take this collarless jacket, for example. On the runway, the proportions were oversized but balanced. On Vicky, the same can’t be said, especially when you look at the sleeves, which overwhelm the frame of the look.
The real talking point, however, is the Bottega Veneta Veneziana Mary-Jane ballerinas. Ballet flats may be everywhere right now, but few are as distinctive as these. The exaggerated spiked embellishment gives them a tougher edge, creating an unexpected contrast against an otherwise understated outfit.
They’re unusual, a little eccentric and exactly the kind of styling choice that aligns with Vicky’s personal style. She has always gravitated towards pieces with character.
