Michael Kors Spring 2015 Front Row

Michael Kors Spring 2015 Front Row

The front row of the Michael Kors Spring 2015 presentation on Tuesday (September 10) at Spring Studios, held during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City, featured a bevy of the designer’s darlings who dressed in their Michael Kors best for the show.

Jessica Chastain: Donning a black and oleander printed frock and black ‘Doris’ sandals, both from the Michael Kors Resort 2015 collection, the actress worked this sweet and charming look to perfection.

Cody Horn: The model-actress complemented the sporty-chic appeal of the white embellished t-shirt dress with peanut ‘Janet’ platform sandals, both from the Michael Kors Resort 2015 collection. A messy updo along with a silver embellished ‘Elsie’ clutch from the MICHAEL Michael Kors Holiday 2014 collection completed the ensemble. I don’t love the colour of the shoes with this look, but from the ankles up, it works.

Brit Marling In Proenza Schouler & Alexander McQueen – ‘The Keeping Room’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Brit Marling In Proenza Schouler & Alexander McQueen - 'The Keeping Room' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Brit Marling attended the premiere of ‘The Keeping Room’ at The Elgin on Monday (September 8) during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.

Looking to the archives for sartorial inspiration, the actress cut a dramatic profile in an Alexander McQueen Spring 2007 ivory high-waist skirt, emblazoned with a striking black swallow print.

Simplifying the styling of the bird-and-branch piece from its theatrical and historical runway incarnation, she modernized this statement McQueen design with a Proenza Schouler on-trend black crop top.

Brian Atwood heels and a Lee Savage mini clutch accessorized the ensemble, yet it was her beauty approach that really provided the heightened sense of glamour with her glossy blonde locks and intense oxblood-red lip.

Get The Look: Kate Bosworth’s ‘Still Alice’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere Hair & Makeup

Get The Look Kate Bosworth's 'Still Alice' Toronto Film Festival Premiere Hair & Makeup

Celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff and celebrity hairstylist Bridget Brager worked with Kate Bosworth for the premiere of ‘Still Alice’ during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on Monday.

Here is how to get her stunning look.

MAKEUP

“The lady in RED. A red dress always leaves me wondering – do I go with a red lip or a nude lip? I decided to go for the RED,” said Pati on the beauty inspiration.

“The face is all about structure and contour. I spent time making sure every bone was sculpted, contoured, and highlighted. The same with the eye – no colour, just shades of skin. The cheek got a slight flush of a peachy bronze.”

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Pop Life, a soft red, was applied to Kate’s lips before a deeper red lipstick was added, with a lip brush, to contour the edges. Pati then used red lip gloss, straying from the outdated matte look, to brighten up the lips and mimic the shiny palettes of her dress.

HAIR

Bridget said, “My inspiration for Kate’s hair was a 90′s feel – sleek and modern.”

She started by applying a golf ball sized amount of Bumble and Bumble Thickening Mousse, starting at her roots and brushing it down to her ends. She then blew the hair out using a large round brush.

After her hair was dry, Bridget created a middle part and flat ironed her hair mid shift to ends using a T3 Flat Iron. Once hair was smooth, she took a small section on each side, just In front of the ear, and twisted the section tightly back. She then used a dab of paste to add shine and hold, and secured the two sections with a small clear plastic elastic.

Once the look was set, she used a bit of Moroccan Oil on the ends of her hair for shine and a quick spray of Oribe Superfine Hairspray.

Sarah Gadon In Antonio Marras – ‘Maps To The Stars’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Sarah Gadon In Antonio Marras - 'Maps To The Stars' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Sarah Gadon attended the premiere of the film ‘Maps to the Stars’ at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 9) in Toronto, Canada.

The actress wore a blue silk, three-quarter sleeve silk shirtdress with floral print from the Antonio Marras Fall 2014 collection.

She paired the sweet frock with classic nude pumps, a tortoiseshell clutch and a blue silk banded watch.

The styling on this look couldn’t be any more perfect. It’s all perfectly suited to the lovely dress, and if her previous turns on the red carpet didn’t do it, I certainly hope this look gets her on people’s fashion radars.

A sleek, low-hanging bun, dark berry lips, porcelain skin and blue eyeshadow accent the dress and cement my total admiration for this head-to-toe ensemble.

Keira Knightley In Chanel Couture – ‘The Imitation Game’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Keira Knightley In Chanel Fall 2014 Couture - 'The Imitation Game' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Keira Knightley attended the premiere of the film ‘The Imitation Game’ at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 9) in Toronto, Canada.

For the event, the star wore a gorgeous short sleeved, off-white neoprene embroidered dress with a silk tulle skirt from Chanel Fall 2014 Collection.

Of course it’s no surprise that Keira is wearing Chanel, but why on earth mix things up when it works so very well for you? This lovely, ethereal dress is so luxuriously fabricated and looks so feminine on Keira’s petite frame.

The peep toe, ankle-strap, bow-accented silk shoes are also the perfect girly pairing with this dress, and I love that she chose a color, but a very subdued one to complement the look.

Voluminous waves, and dark-rimmed eyes with a tiny wing and mauve lips complete this divine look.

Perfection, right?
