Monica Bellucci’s Fendi Cannes Look Was A Stylish Surprise

We are so used to the Italian actress leaning into Dolce & Gabbana’s Sicilian glamour or Saint Laurent’s sharp tailoring that this Fendi Fall 2026 look designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri genuinely caught me off guard.

Not only because of the label, but because of the attitude. When was the last time we saw Monica Bellucci in a laser-cut leather dress with this kind of modern edge? Never.

The mix of leather panelling and intricate lace gave the look a darker, sleeker energy while still retaining the sensuality that has always defined Monica’s red carpet style.

I also appreciate that her custom version was lengthened from the runway, which gave the silhouette a more elegant finish and made the look feel far more aligned with her signature presence on the Cannes red carpet.

This is one of my favourite looks from Monica. From the softly layered hair to the minimal jewellery, there is a quiet confidence here without losing any of Monica’s unmistakable glamour.
